This adorable and chic 1-bedroom unit with separate entrance is located 9 minutes from downtown and just steps from beautiful City Park and breathtaking views of downtown Denver in front of the Rocky Mountain front range.
This warm lower-level 1-bedroom underwent a complete renovation in the summer of 2016. It has been thoughtfully updated and tastefully decorated by professionals to offer a retro but warm environment allowing our guests to feel on vacation yet still as if they are completely at home. It can accommodate 2 people. As owners, we are passionate about our home and will always remain closely engaged with the upkeep of our property and the satisfaction of our guests. The space has a well-designed large retro living room with electric fireplace, full kitchen with breakfast bar, and a small cozy bedroom with a large closet. All new appliances and furniture including full-size washer/dryer.
NEED MORE SPACE? The unit has double doors that can be opened to provide a 2nd unit with a studio bedroom & bathroom-- also with a 2nd separate entrance. (See VRBO#973841--additional costs apply)
We offer cable with a wide variety of channels and FREE WIFI.
The green, canopied front patio provides a friendly chill-out space to enjoy Denver's blue skies. In summer, we welcome guests to visit the back yard to pick tart apples from one of our apple trees. (Currently we are landscaping the back yard. Please enjoy front patio.)
THE NEIGHBORHOOD: CITY PARK SOUTH
Walk to so many amenities!! With a quiet, safe and friendly neighborhood feel close to downtown, the house is just across the street from Denver's largest and most beautiful Park, City Park. The Denver Zoo and the Museum of Science and Nature are just across the park.
There is a full grocery store (Sprouts) on the very next block next to a Denver Bike Share station.
Enjoy 5-10 min walks through our charming neighborhood to several bars: Atomic Cowboy, PS Town, Goosetown Tavern, Cerebral Brewing, and several others
Great dining close by includes Into the Wind, Stella's, Mezcal, Humble Pie, Denver Biscuit Company, as well as hip coffee shops: Hooked on Colfax, Lula Rose Coffee Shop, a Wine bar, and a Cooey's Ice Cream --a 1950s ice cream shop.
Also nearby is one of the hippest book stores (Tattered Cover) next to a modern Independent film Cinema (SIE)

My partner and I live in the unit upstairs, and respect your privacy, but we enjoy assisting you as you need. We're usually around town, and if there is anything you need, don't hesitate to call. We provide lockboxes with several backups should you need.
My partner and I downsized to just 1 car thanks to this neighborhood. We enjoy the convenience of a car to make it downtown in 7 min, but we also rely on walking, biking, Uber/Lyft, and public buses (Bus 20 to downtown stops feet from the door step, and the Colfax #15 (2 blocks away) also goes downtown and runs every 10 min during peak times. The new "Train-to-the-Plane" light rail is just 2 miles from the home. It runs every 15 min and can get you to DÍA in 27 minutes.
Street parking has been plentiful on our block.

Very pleasant, well equipped, terrific location right across from City Park. We enjoyed our stay! No complaints. Would go back again.
This apartment was so centrally located that we used mass transit for our entire stay. It was clean, cozy, and welcoming.

Nested on a quiet street, this one bedroom is well designed for guests. It has chic and classy design elements with comfort and relaxation in mind. The proprietor is very helpful and responsive. The apartment is bordered by City Park, Museum of Nature & Science, the Zoo and delicious neighborhood restaurants and amenities. With close proximity to Downtown or Cherry Creek, the location and comfortable accommodations make this a great place to relax or explore!

All of the reviews are right-on. Lovely, convenient location, gracious host--you couldn't want a better place for your Denver stay than here. Parking was a bit challenging this visit. Guess more people with cars have moved to the street! But we found a place eventually and life was good!🙂We will be back again!
