This location is so serene with such a scenic vista. It was lovely to have our coffees on the deck each morning, watching the birds swooping and listening to the waves lapping at the shore. And, close to the beach!
We had a wonderful stay at the house. Enjoyed coffee outside on the back deck watching the sunrise over the water. There is access down to the rocky shore via a small set of steps. We cooked a fair bit which we planned to do since this is a pretty remote property and found everything needed to prepare a meal. Bedroom and bathroom were fine, and laundry was a bonus Extra blankets in the living room were nice to have on cool days, The property's water comes from a well and was pretty dirty the first day there but cleared up after being used for a day. Not an issue for us having had well water before. As I said this is a pretty remote property, one of the two restaurants close by was closed due to no cooks. Others are a 25 minute drive away. We chose this house because we wanted to explore the Bold Coast of Maine and its a great starting spot for day trips. Canada is and hour north, Schoodic Peninsula an hour south. Hiking in the area is wonderful. If you love rock hopping along the shore (I do) don't miss Great Wass Preserve Shoreline trail. A mile long walk directly on the water. Not easy but can't wait to do it again. Thanks for having us.
We absolutely loved this place. Just an incredible view, and down the street from a public beach. The house itself was well-appointed, and the hosts graciously made sure we had everything we needed. We can't wait to come back!
What an outstanding place this is overlooking the ocean with all its many sights and sounds, plus a sandy beach just 1/4 mile away! It's location made it easy to take day trips to Eastport, Lubec, Campbello, Schoodic or to just stay and relax by the sea. We hated to leave!

Serene oceanview, cozy house
We stayed for almost an entire week in January. Just having this magnificent view to the ocean and islands helped us relax and wind down.House is well equipped. Kitchen even has spices, oils, and vinegar. It was warm. Nights are magnificent there. And waling up to the raising sun over ocean is the best part of it.

Great view
I had a great time; the house had a great deck, and hearing the ocean was amazing.
Really great stay. One hiccup was splinters in the kids feet on the outdoor deck. Had to go to the ER to get them out (large) may want to look into refinishing/sanding.

Loved everything
We were there visiting family on Beals. Such a cozy little place to come back to. Looking forward a future time to come back!
Had to vacate my house while construction was being done, and needed a place for my sister and I to stay with our two dogs. We were lucky to find someplace that allows dogs, right on the ocean was a bonus! This was perfect!
It was a nice quiet place. Seeing the sunrise each day was very pleasant. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck watching sea life and birds. We also weren’t far from Great Wass preserve so went on the coastal loop. It was more challenging for a couple senior citizens than we expected, and well worth doing. Highly recommend it if you want to spend a beautiful day in nature.

Second stay as great as the first!
This is our second time staying here and it was a perfect again! Clean, beautiful views, lots of linens, well stocked kitchen, the ice maker and rocking chairs on the deck were our favorites! The guest contact Heather is so sweet and responds so quickly. We will be back!
This property is a quiet and clean property. The ocean and the flowers make you want to sit on the deck and just look around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right fit
This rental really was perfect for what we needed. Only in the area for 2 nights, close by to where we were meeting family, worked out great. We took advantage of a couple of games kept on site and enjoyed our view during our stay. Even found an umbrella, which made my day after I forgot mine.
My sister and stayed up here for a few days with my dog and it was great. They had everything we needed to enjoy our time, the beds were super comfortable and the views were fantastic! We enjoyed watching the lobster boats in the early morning, watching the seal come hangout on the rocks once they left, and going off to see some of the lighthouses. We would definitely stay again! Thank you for sharing your lovely house with us!
We returned to Jonesport this year for a vacation 20 years after our first visit and it was everything we remembered. Our choice of this property for our vacation this year was everything we had hoped: a beautiful, quiet haven with all the basic comforts of home and a view that can’t be beat. Some amazing hikes and some tranquil mornings on the deck enjoying the gardens and sunrises were exactly what we needed.
