House was conveniently located. Kitchen was well equipped except knob broken on one burner and knob missing on oven. Bed comfortable. Faint musty smell in living room. Perhaps a deep steam clean would help.

Response from Radiant Gloucester House w/ Private Porch! on Oct 14, 2026
We're glad the location worked well and that the bed was comfortable. On the stove, the knob broke so we replaced the oven with a brand new one. The musty smell was due to a sump pump issue in the crawl space that let water seep in; we've installed a brand new pump to clear that out. This was a temporary problem that's now fixed.

Wonderful stay in Gloucester!

What a wonderful place to stay! The home is incredible, with an amazing sunroom and excellent kitchen! Wish we could transport the entire place into our actual apartment — very lovely, and such a nice treat to experience the town of Gloucester. Hope to stay here again!

Comfortable, Convenient Cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home was very fresh and clean. However, we would have preferred to have a TV, so we could have kicked back to watch a movie at night.

Nice place

We were traveling from Texas to Maine and needed a place to stay in the area while visiting friends on our route. The house was clean, tastefully decorated, comfortable beds, well stocked and owners/property management company had good communication.

Great place

The house was very comfortable and clean with everything provided for the stay. The location is on a quiet street yet only a short walk to an incredible sweet shop and great restaurant. It was awesome to sit on the sun porch and listen to the birds chirping. We loved it.

Unbeatable Location

Beautifully restored interior. Air conditioning worked great. Quiet street but only steps to Main Street. Especially good for visiting residents at Riverside Sanders which is just a block away.

A school graduation rental

The property was perfect! The home was very clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable too! Parking was good and the little sitting area on the front porch was nice. It had more room than we really needed with the cute little sun porch.

Great place for a quick getaway

House was super clean, kitchen well outfitted (great to have a basic spices but at least there was salt and pepper:)). Driveway was more off-road than we expected which is not a big deal but stepping stones or some such would be great in the rain.

Yorktown

Great midpoint to all the attractions. The town of Gloucester has close restaurants, shopping whether you want to walk or drive a short distance. I wasnt aware of the toll coming back and forth to Yorktown. Honestly, for us the 20 minute drive was worth it. The property is on a quiet street with food options within a 5 minute walk.
