Lovely house in a beautiful setting. We really enjoyed watching the sun rise - and set - over the mountains. Very quiet, yet easy to reach town. Highly recommend driving to PattyO's in Little Washington for lunch. Yum!

Loved spending time on this property

My family had a great weekend at this property. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. We loved having our morning coffee in the screened porch and looking at the beautiful mountains. We spent a lot of time exploring the great attractions that are just a few minutes drive from the house. We enjoyed relaxing in the comfortable living room in the evening and looking out at the large bush that attracted colorful butterflies. We want to return for another visit in the fall.

Just as Nice the Second Time!

Second time staying at this house. View out the back is wonderful! House was clean and has all basics needed for family of four. Great for a trip to Shenandoah NP!

Beautiful place with great access to The Shenandoah area!

Happ to have found this place with such great access to hiking, wine tasting and checking in to several towns.The property is lovely and clean. We had everything we needed during our stay.The hot tub is big and clean with a great view of Skyline drive. Unfortunatley, there is some home construction being done below the property and someone saw fit to park a large dump truck with its dump up, right in front of the home. So sad we did t have the view we expected.Regardless of that, it’s a great location and stocked with all you’ll need for a great stay near the Shenandoah mountains!

Great getaway!

Our family of 6 adults enjoyed the weekend at this lovely home. It was a perfect location to access Shenandoah National Park. We enjoyed the views and hot tub after our hike. We also used the gas grill to make dinner together one night.

So comfy - great views

Loved our stay here and loved the views! Such great house with everything we needed and Jim was a great host! We had a wonderful time in the hot tub and in the cabin and it was close to everything! Highly recommend!

This place has the most beautiful views! We were lucky to have perfectly clear skies and pleasant weather during our stay. Thoroughly enjoyed spending time on the porch, stargazing from the fire pit, and relaxing in the hot tub. Amazing trip!

Fun weekend

We had a wonderful anniversary weekend. This was the perfect place to be out in nature and yet only a 15 minute drive into town. Place was clean. Screened in porch was great and so was the hot tub. Took a minute to figure out how to work the range and coffee pot but after we figured that out it was all good. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The rental was beautiful. My only complaint is the toilet paper was thin. Otherwise, it was a breathtaking location and a nice home! We enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful family get away

The home was perfect and set in a quiet space among the mountains. The hot tub overlooked abeautiful meadow and mountain scene that was breathtaking. The home was clean and well equipped. We loved having the ability to clean our hiking clothes each day in the washer/dryer. The homes caretaker was responsive, prompt, and extremely friendly. I hope to return to this same home again soon!

Nice secluded setting.

Quiet with great view of the mountains. Can see cars driving on skyline drive with binoculars. Great stargazing from the hot tub. Short drive to the north entrance of the national park and to the state park. Would suggest bringing own cooking utensils and cookware if planning making on family meals. Bed and toilet in master rather low which may be difficult for those with limited mobility. Overall, very pleased.

Beautiful home with beautiful views

Beautiful home—just as pictured. The views are gorgeous and we enjoyed the comfort of the home after long days hiking and mountain biking. We communicated once with the homeowner and they were quick to respond with detailed info. Our teens enjoyed the fast internet. We also appreciated the food guide provided. My only feedback would be having more cookware/kitchen items would be nice. We typically eat some meals at the house while staying at a rental. Additionally, having more paper towels/garbage bags available would be preferred. If they were there, I didn’t see them. Overall, the stay was great and we’d come back. Thank you!

Great views and close to wineries

Not far from Front Royal but feels very much in the country. Great Mountain views. Home is comfortable and clean. Good mattresses. Clean and comfortable. Quick response from owner/main contact person. Easy driving distance to numerous wineries and other attractions. The only disappointment was the kitchen has very minimal ‘stuff’ to accommodate you if you plan to cook or make meals. This home would benefit from just a small investment in some decent kitchen stuff for those who want to make a meal.
