The Beach House (MCA 958)- Meredith Lodging
Set back from the road in a quiet residential area just blocks from the beach and downtown Manzanita. The Beach House is a skillfully updated three-bedroom home perfect for your next coastal stay. You’ll love the style of the open great room, with its vaulted ceiling, plank wall, original artwork, wood stove, TV, and comfy sofas for lounging. The dining table has windows on two sides for pretty views of the surrounding woods, and the cheery galley kitchen makes it easy to cook while conversing with your guests. Two bedrooms and two sweet, updated baths make this an easy home to share with another couple. You’ll feel ensconced by woods as you sit around the elevated firepit on the deck; a barbecue gives you the option of grilling dinner outdoors. Enjoy the separate entrance to the third bedroom on the lower level with its own bathroom and outdoor shower. You’ll have other dining options, too, since you’re an easy walk to Laneda Avenue’s restaurants—shopping, a wine bar, and a spa are at your fingertips, too. Manzanita’s gorgeous crescent beach with Neahkahnie Mountain looming to the north is a few blocks away. In the heart of a quiet neighborhood with both town and the beach close by, The Beach House is a wonderful way to explore this artful town and the rest of the North Oregon Coast!
Please note: The third bedroom has a separate entry and is not accessible from the main house.

Charming home that felt comfortable. The home had everything you would need for your stay. Great shower in the on suite! I enjoyed the feel of being in the quiet forest with the sun pecking through the big living room windows.Easy walk to the beach and town-bit longer than I thought but lovely neighborhood to walk in.
This is a spectacular location cabin that is extremely well furnished. We had a wonderful time in this cabin like spot that is super close to one of the best towns on the Oregon coast.
One caveat was that the oven was not available for our stay which was just messaged to us prior to the trip, a small hiccup in what was regardless a wonderful trip!

Hi David! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay in beautiful Manzanita. We are sorry the oven was not available during your stay, but a convection oven was provided. We loved hosting you, and hope you will return!
It was a lovely property and great location to walk into town and beach. Would have liked better communication about access to third bedroom under main house.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at The Beach House. We appreciate your feedback, and will share your comments with our local property team to see how we can improve. We loved hosting you, and hope you will return!
This property's amenties and pics were not accurately described. The furniture was worn out and dirty, oven inoperable, TV's didn't have service (no instructions), limited essentials (bathroom, kitchen, laundry), and the list of rules for the house extensive. Meredith Lodging were horrible with communicating, my emails were somehow deleted, and unapologetically they entered the home when we were gone without our permission. We would never recommend staying here.

We arrived at the confirmed check in time on a very hot August day. The key code would not work. After many calls I made contact with the managing company. They said there was a staffing problem and would not be able to enter until after 6:00 pm. We had to wait in our car.
The home is run down and very out of date. The oven had no door. The whole dishwasher pulls away from the cabinet when you open the door. The kitchen cabinet wooden pulls are layered with built up grease. This a very expensive rental, not worth the money that is being charged. I will not return and would not recommend this rental to others.

The place was spacious and close to the beach. We didn’t feel like the price matched up to what we paid though. Many of the things weren’t upkept and not in a great condition. Half the outlets were lose or didn’t work, some of the lights in the kitchen weren’t working, the oven handle was broken, the leather couch looks like it’s falling apart. The bed downstairs was old, my husband and I slept down there and I could feel the springs, my back was hurting days after our stay. The window seals had dust and dead bugs, so it didn’t seem like it had deep cleaning. The outdoor area was advertised but all of the chairs and other things outside were full of dust and dirt so we didn’t really use it as there wasn’t anything to really clean them with. Also check in time is ridiculous. We paid almost 900 for two nights with these issues and 4pm check in and 10 am check out. It’s so late for check in and so early. Also, there wasn’t anything about the house other than the fridge which was hidden by the big magnet on it. so it was unclear, we had to contact host for the wifi password and lots of these details are usually included in your reservation instead of just on the fridge.
