3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Sleeps 8
A hot tub and pool table and arcade, oh my! Those are just a few of the delights that await you at Serenity Peak. Add to them free access to a swimming pool in the summer, a location just minutes from all the area’s attractions, and spectacular views of the Great Smoky Mountains, and you have the makings of a perfect vacation.
A 3-bedroom log cabin that sleeps 8 people in comfort and style, Serenity Peak is within the Covered Bridge Resort. Because the resort is an easy 5-minute drive to the Pigeon Forge Parkway, the town’s main thoroughfare, everything from Dollywood to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Titanic Museum to Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park & Ski Area, is practically at your front door. What’s more, the resort has a heated swimming pool that’s open in the summer, so you can enjoy a refreshing swim when you return from golfing, zorbing, or going on a spree at the outlet stores.
Serenity Peak was the development’s show model, so it boasts some especially fabulous features. Chief among these is the huge deck, one of the largest within the resort, and a gazebo with a deck swing as well as rockers. The Smoky Mountains are in plain view. At least one night you’ll want to enjoy dinner at the deck’s dining table as the sun sets over the mountains: It’s a sight you’ll long cherish.
As well as the outdoor eating area, the cabin has an indoor dining table that seats 6 with ease, plus an adjacent breakfast bar with room for 3 more. And while you’ll no doubt want to experience some of the nearby restaurants and dinner theaters—there are so many to choose from!—once you see the open, beautifully equipped kitchen you might be eager to enjoy at least a few meals right at Serenity Peak. Stainless-steel appliances, gadgets galore, plenty of cookware and tableware: The kitchen has it all.
A stone-surround fireplace warms up both the dining area and the living room. Its golden glow adds to the luster of the wood-planked floors, walls, and beamed ceiling, The living area is a marvelously relaxing space. There’s room for the whole gang to gather and watch a movie or the big game on the flat-screen TV, and the plush sofa is tailor-made for indulging in an afternoon nap.
Upstairs is the game room, another comfortable gathering spot. In addition to a full-size pool table, you’ll find an arcade and another TV. There’s a bar table as well, perfectly situated by one of the oversize windows so that you can take in a bird's eye view of the mountains and woodlands as you play cards, check your email (Serenity Peak has free WiFi), or enjoy an after-dinner drink.
Also upstairs is the master suite. Though spacious, it’s also cozy, thanks to its planked walls and vaulted ceiling. Along with a king-size bed, it features a settee that can convert into a twin bed, making this room ideal for a couple with a small child. Of course, the heart-shaped jetted tub also makes the room ideal for a couple in the mood for romance! Among the suite’s other amenities are a TV and a private bathroom; it’s a haven within a haven.
Back on the main floor are 2 more bedrooms. One also has a king-size bed, making the cabin well suited for 2 couples or families vacationing together. The 3rd bedroom has a twin bunk bed over a double, with a trundle bed as well, so that up to 4 people can make this their quarters. The kids will love it, especially when they see that this room also has a TV. The main-floor bedrooms share the cabin’s 2nd full-size bathroom—having a bathroom on each floor is so convenient. And speaking of convenient, Serenity Peak has a washer and dryer too.
When it comes to Smoky Mountain getaways, Serenity Peak has it all. So go ahead and book your stay today… before someone else beats you to it!

Great for me and my boys, only 2miles from Pigeon Forge, loved the location. Looked just like the pictures, will def be back.
Christie, thank you for staying with us at Serenity Peak. We look forward to having you stay with us on your next trip to the Smokies.
Great place in a great area, with beautiful scenery.
Our only complaint is the king size beds weren’t very comfortable. Very large dips in both of them. Other then this is was great!
Thank you for staying with us Ben and for taking the time to share. We are glad you found Serenity Peak a great place to stay.
Plenty of room and beautiful view!
Great place for a get away! Close to everything; yet feels like you are away from the hustle and bustle of the city! Would love to come back again!
Thank you Christy for staying with us. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and the beautiful view.
Wonderful place, plenty of room....wished we could've stayed longer.
We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for sharing.
Great porches and view!
The porches are the best feature of this cabin. Plenty of space to enjoy the view. The cabin does need some attention. There are a couple of places on the deck with rotten and broken boards. The couch is old and worn. A bad rain storm came through and water was pouring in around the back door and windows. The cabin was pretty clean and the upstairs bedroom is large. The cabins are very very close together but the view was worth the lack of privacy.
Thank you for sharing your comments as they help us to continually improve our guest experience. We sincerely apologies for the issues you had during your stay. We hope on your next trip to the Smokies you will stay with us again, giving us the opportunity to exceed expectations.
Bad from the minute we arrived.
When we arrived at the cabin there was someone parked in the only parking spot available for the rental. My husband went to the cabins around us to ask them to move but had no luck. Then, when I went to the door to enter the code to get in it didn't work. I called the office and they finally found a code that would work. After we got in the cabin we discovered only two tvs worked. I called the office again, a maintenance guy came a few hours later to figure out what was going on, he did eventually get everything working. On our last night we came back to the cabin to find the code to the door didn't work, again. I called the office and 30 minutes later the maintenance guy showed up and let us in. We were stuck in our cabin until check out, if we left we were told we'd have to call and have the maintenance guy come back. He lived 30 minutes away! The cabin was nice but all the other problems took away from it. Won't be staying there again.
Kristi, thank you for taking the time to share your review. Your input, as well as all our guest feedback is vitally important as we want all guests expectations to be met upon arrival. We sincerely apologies for the rare set of circumstances you encountered on your stay. Again, thank you for sharing and we look forward to having you stay with us on your next trip to the Smokies, giving us the opportunity to exceed all expectations.
