The house was comfortable, clean. The sunroom was delightful. We enjoyed some meals on the deck, watching the water, walking on the beach. I would like to return.

A lovely property close to the beach. Friendly neighborhood and a great place to relax. Short drive to Chatham and shopping. Kitchen and living space were nice. Would definitely stay her again!

In particular, this is a great place for two couples. There are two rooms with King beds - both rooms were very good sizes and the beds very comfortable. The bedroom downstairs with two twins was a nice spot for an adult kid who stopped by for two nights. The house is comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need and more. Location was fabulous. Highly recommend.

Chatham near beach

Loved being so close to the beach. Well equipped house with room for us to be out on back deck or side screened porch or in the house. Owner was very responsive to questions. I would definitely rent there again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, proximity to private beach was great. The house was much closer to the beach than we expected and we enjoyed walking Hardings beach early mornings. The house could use some updating and the air- conditioning couldn't keep up during a heatwave. The house was well suitable for our needs as we were at the beach most days. Great location, we would definitely stay here again.

Great place close to quiet beach. Good location to get anywhere on the Cape. House is fairly old and could use some updates, but we still had a great vacation!

retirement celebration

We were here in early October to celebrate a friend's retirement. It is an older home, no fancy updates, but quite comfortable and had all we needed for preparing meals in. The location is amazing and worth it alone! This home reminded me of the quintessential beach home from childhood. We all would be happy to return here.

Old house. A/C doesn’t work well upstairs. But, clean and great location. Available beach umbrella completely broken. But, they do provide beach chairs. .

Great location, serviceable home

There are some pros about this property. Ample parking, Fantastic location for beach, activities, linens, and towels, and beach towels provided. It’s a great place if you don’t stay in the house for very long. In inside, there is a strong smell of something very offputting coming from one side of the house, Which fades as you open the windows and run the AC. But the AC is only one zone so you have to have the downstairs very cold in order to get the upstairs a bit cool. Might not matter to some, but on the hot days It would be difficult. Some confusion with the cleaning service and they didn’t provide enough toilet paper for our stay, but the manager said he will look into it. The manager was very responsive, so that was a real plus!

We're glad you found the location ideal for your visit and appreciated our quick responsiveness.-I apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the smell inside the house and the AC system. The issue you mentioned was related to a recent problem with the thermostat, which affected the temperature regulation and led to some moisture accumulation. We've since resolved this by installing a dehumidifier in the basement and addressing the thermostat issue. The central AC system, like in many homes, may require some vent adjustments to ensure even cooling throughout the house.-Regarding the confusion with the cleaning service, I appreciate your understanding as we worked through it. We have already taken steps to ensure this does not happen again, including ensuring an adequate supply of essentials like toilet paper for our future guests.Your feedback is invaluable as it helps us improve our services. We're committed to making sure every guest has a comfortable stay, and we hope to welcome you back in the future.

Ideal Location

The location of this house was amazing. Truly steps from a private beach where we were the only people using it. I could look out the window each morning and enjoy the ocean view. The residential neighborhood was gorgeous and quiet. The yard was perfect for active children.The neighbors didn’t seem to mind our wiffle ball games or children at play.The outdoor shower was helpful after a day on the beach. The house is dated and could use some updates.If you aren’t in need of high end accommodations, it is fine.The kitchen and bathrooms were clean.Other places that the cleaners might struggle to get to were a bit dirty. I had my husband move the bed so I could wipe the layer of dirt and dust below our heads.There were fans with a very thick layer of dust that need to be taken apart to be cleaned.Other than that, it was a great place for a family with kids. Things to know: If you have a larger group, I’d suggest bringing some beach towels. They do provide 6, but we ended up using those in addition to the small thin ones provided for showers. Also, bring soap for the shower, as none was provided. They did provide a hotel sized bottle of shampoo/conditioner, but not enough for a family of 6. The kitchen has everything you might need to make meals - bowls, pots, pans, utensils, etc. There is a coffee maker, blender and toaster. Overall, the house was perfect for a family with kids who want to spend their days on the beach and enjoy all cape cod has to offer. We will be back!
