Great Condo

We loved this condo, we were worried about the sounds on the first floor but didn't hear any other neighbors the entire time we were there and the first floor turned out to be super for loading in and loading out. We love this location as its close to the bike trail as we like to ride downtown. Five Stars!!!!

Condo and property were beautiful! Pool area was very nice! Could have been a few more amenities provided, i.e. Kleenex in bathrooms, beach towels, etc., otherwise great place!

Great Condo!

Clean and spacious for the 6 of us! The room with two queen beds is very dark and quiet - perfect for sleeping in on vacation. Owners were very accommodating & helpful. Would stay here again!

Lovely condo in Traverse City

We enjoyed the condo very much. Extremely peaceful after the rush of the holiday season. While it is not beachfront there is a beach view which will truly be lovely during the warmer months. The fireplace was a nice bonus as while we visited the city had frigid temperatures and 20” of snow. Good trip and would recommend.

Condo on the Bay

We rented this condo for a girl's get away weekend. The condo was very clean and comfortable for the four of us. We all loved the view from the beautiful balcony where we had morning coffee in the sunshine. I will keep this one in mind for a future rental.

Great place wish the fireplace worked and second bedroom could have been arranged better. Ditch that giant chair and push the beds closer to the table. We did really enjoy our stay and we were very comfortable

Spacious, updated and clean 2 bedroom condo

Very spacious and clean condo on East Bay. While this unit is not water front it has a nice water view from the balcony and the balcony is huge. The pool and hot tub overlooking the bay was picture perfect. We loved that the pool fence was clear so you could see right through to the water - almost like an infinity pool. Also appreciated having the unit stocked with some of the essentials - trash bags, paper towels, TP and such. Just a few suggestions to make this condo even better...more patio furniture. It’s a huge space and it’s where we wanted to be so having more furniture out there there for lounging and dinning would be a huge plus along with ambient lighting vs spot light for nighttime. I’d also suggest having a handful of beach towels available. Would definitely stay here again!!

Great place, mostly pros...a few cons

Overall, this condo was a great place to stay. It was bigger than I expected, clean, the beds were comfortable and the place was quiet throughout our stay. It was located near many restaurants and close enough to enjoy all the wineries. A few cons...the listing indicated there was a hot tub, however, when we went to find it the first night we were there we discovered it was covered up and not available for use. That was a huge disappointment to us. The instructions we received stated we would need to strip all the beds, start the dishwasher, empty all the garbage cans and take all the garbage to the dumpster. Normally I would not complain about having to do all that but when you have to pay $150 cleaning fee...I guess I expect to have to do a little less.

Property was great. Had issue with air conditioning but the owner was great and fixed it right away. Would stay here again.

Perfect getaway

Layout of the condo was excellent! Clean, tidy, well appointed. Really felt like we were the only people there! Private beach, quiet, didn’t hear another anything. Everything was as desired and we will actively seek out staying again!

Cleanliness and/or condition of furniture

The whole condo either needs a deep clean or a paint job. The couch and the chair with the ottoman were very dirty. The couch was even ripped. The couch was impossible to sit on because the cushion was so flat. I realize this is a rental, but these are things the owner needs to replace just because of wear and tear. This was not damage done by renters. The nightly price was quite high considering the condition of the unit.

I got an email the day of our stay stating that one of the bathrooms wasn’t working. I was told specifically that the second bedroom had a tv, not so. The oven wasn’t working properly. I’m asking for some compensation for the above inconveniences.

Great time in TC.

The toilet in the half bath kept running and water was all over the floor; we had to turn it off. Also, the air-conditioning wasn't working.

Right on US-131

The property is nice; very clean and updated. But it is very noisy given that it is right of US-131. Instead of hearing the lake with your condo windows open, you hear the incessant noise of a busy highway. When you are at the beach, you can't hear it - and the water was great. I wouldn't stay there again, just because I prefer a quieter venue, but if that doesn't bother you, it was a good price for a condo on a beach!

Wonderful home away from home

Great condo! Perfect location to to either peninsula for wine tours or small town shops. The condo was perfect for 2 couples with 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. It was very clean and the kitchen (and outside grill) allowed us to cook one night in. The beds were very comfy too :)

Staying at the Peninsula Bay Resort was a great time. It’s clean, big enough to separate from those your traveling with if need be. The balcony was nice looking over the east bay. It’s further from Downtown but Uber and Lyft made that easier. I wish the pool was open even the hot tub could have just been open. But we understand as we showed up right at the end of the peak season. Having your own personal key card to get into the building was nice. Safe. The only negatives are: couldn’t get the fire place to turn on, the A/C and heat kind of worked but not all the way. Better ventilation for cooking. When we were cooking the hood didn’t seem like it was working all that well and we set the smoke alarms off. Needless to say we didn’t really cook in the condo after that incident. The last thing is when we got there we couldn’t find our room. We got assigned “unit B2” come to find out there was no “B2”. At least, not to the naked eye. After a good 5-10 mins of figuring out what room was ours we looked at the property map and knew our room was on the 2nd floor. We tried our key at a couple of doors and finally settled on the 2nd room on the 2nd floor which was not “B2” but come to find out was “Unit B21”. I wish that would have been explained more to us among check in. Once we figured out what unit was ours after hauling all our luggage throughout the entire building (Thanks for the luggage carts) We entered our unit and we’re pumped to be there. Overall, our experience was a great one. A great place to stay while enjoying Traverse City and the surrounding areas. Clean and Comfortable. I would definitely stay at Peninsula Bay the next time I visit Traverse City for longer period of time.
