We loved this property! The house is so nice and very well equipped for guests! The property is close in proximity to hiking and shopping options but still gives you so much privacy! We kept saying how nice it was to be somewhere that's so quiet and relaxing. We will definitely be staying here again!

This was a tiny piece of heaven! We had very good contact with owners and they stock the house with so much which is a plus! It was so clean and the views were impeccable! A very quiet place and secluded. Very dog friendly with a fenced in yard! This place will definitely be at the top of my list for future visits!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Elk Knob Escape. It was charming, brand new, supplied with everything you could possibly need (except salt!!). The approach road and driveway are easy, and the cabin is private and secluded. The pictures don’t do it justice.

The pictures don’t do justice to this sweet cabin! It is perfect in every way! It is stocked with everything you might ever need and plenty of it (except salt!!). The approach road is easy—even the gravel driveway. We had a wonderful time.

Cute place and close to Elk Knob State Park

Very cute cabin that was perfect for our family of 5 and our dogs. Close to Boone and Elk Knob State Park is 5 min. Large master bedroom and nice kitchen. Will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Experience!

Everything was just perfect! The cabin was clean and adorable! The owners were quite helpful and receptive with all of our needs! Our pups were allowed to come and the backyard was just perfect for them! We accidentally left an item behind and the owners were so considerate to mail it back to us immediately. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this wonderful get away cabin.

Wonderful getaway

This cabin is wonderful! Everything is in tip-top shape, the decor is beautiful, and the views are outstanding. We've stayed in multiple mountain cabins and this one is by far the best! The location is perfect for exploring the High Country.

Perfect Boone Getaway

Loved this property. Just enough out of the main town to feel like we are out of the hubbub. Beautiful views. Perfect size for my husband and I and our two dogs. Especially appreciated the fenced in yard.

Great cabin!

The cabin was very well furnished. The beds and living room furniture were very comfortable and the kitchen had just about everything you could ask for (a small sauce pan would be nice and the ice maker didn’t produce very well). Nice deck and hot tub. The variety of birds identified on my app was amazing! The cabin felt remote but was actually less an 15 minutes to Boone. Would certainly recommend to family and friends!

Beautiful views

This house was perfect for our family and provided everything we needed. Somewhat isolated and quiet with a beautiful view. It's about a 20 min drive into Boone. We would stay again.

Relaxing and fun

Our family had such a relaxing weekend here. It was close enough to go to shopping centers, sight seeing and enjoy hiking! Our kids said this was the best vacation ever and did not want to leave. The house was comforting and location was perfect for us. We plan on trying to use this exact place again in the future when we come back to Boone.

Great house

Perfect for a family of 4. Hot tub was great, plenty of space. Easy to find if you follow the directions listed when you book. Waze doesn’t get you there. We had a deer visit us while we were there! We’d stay again!

Beautiful cabin with lovely view. Easy access. The owners left creamer and coffee pods and a few snacks which were very thoughtful. Location was great and cabin was clean. One of the full size beds needs replacing terribly. My husband and I kept “falling “ into the “whole” in the center of the bed. Otherwise a lovely stay.

This was one of the nicest cabins we have ever stayed in! Clean, perfectly arranged. Quiet, and literally has everything in it you need. Cary, the host, made sure everything was ready for us. He even had various coffees, creamer and sweeteners ready for us, along with some great snacks. On Saturday night after the 4th of July, his neighbor below us did a tremendous firework show. We are already hoping to come back in January. It is close to Boone without the traffic, etc. and Cary is a wonderful host!

Felt like home

We and our chocolate lab stayed three nights. The hosts created such a lovely environment that we had the best time. We commented that this was the best property we have ever stayed in. The house has stunning views, comfortable beds, beautiful finishes, clean and wonderful hot tub, fully stocked kitchen, nice, clean bathrooms and hot showers and even stunning views from the fire pit area. The host had even provided wood and things for the fire! There were extra towels and linens if needed. We just cannot say enough good about the host of this property. They even sent us messages to make sure we can find the cabin before arriving. We have lovely memories of seeing 4 white tail deer and an owl outside, of the beautiful sunsets, coffee on the deck, marshmallows at the fire pit and pot roast in the cozy cabin. We are planning to return in fall. So thankful to Cary the host and such an amazing vacation and recharge time!

Loved our stay! New build, very clean & dog friendly - just what we were looking for! Has all the amenities needed for a family of four with dogs. And the hot tub makes it perfect!!
