This private access, secluded beach offers the famous sugar white sands, beautiful emerald blue water, and is only a short 300 yards away- a quick trip in our private golf cart, included for your ease and comfort.

We think that Cobia reflects the culmination of eight years of searching for just the "right" vacation home. You will quickly guess that Cobia was designed by an artist by all the hand painted touches. Beautiful tropical colors, and designer furnishings, everything was detailed to make you feel as we do in our vacation home comfortable, pampered and a true respite to the beach.
The front porch leads you to the left into the large eat-in kitchen, with Corian countertops and an open breakfast bar/dining area, all awash in sunny yellow. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need- from making morning coffee to a gourmet seafood dinner (the fresh seafood market is a quick drive.) You also have a convenient powder bath, as well as full laundry facilities.
To your right is the Florida Family room for watching your favorite movie on the 42 inch LCD HD television with surround sound speakers or just discussing the day with friends and family. The sofa converts into a queen sized be if needed.
Peach Parfait
The master suite is located on the second floor. There you will find a queen-sized bed with memory foam mattress, 32 inch LCD TV, DVD and balcony view. (Private bath)
Key Lime Treat
The other bedroom on the second floor, is perfect as an optional kid hang-out area. A wicker daybed and trundle provide sleeping and allow plenty of room to play, with the 32 inch LCD TV, DVD and PS2 game system. The perfect bedroom for little ones to teens. (Private bath)
Blueberry Frost
The third bedroom is on the third floor; featuring a queen sized bed, 32 inch LCD TV, DVD. (Private bath)
Aqua Whip
The fourth bedroom is also on the third floor featuring a queen sized bed, TV, DVD. ( private bath)
The Balcony
A twenty foot covered balcony is perfect for relaxing, reading, or just listening to the surf. Both of the third floor bedrooms open up to the balcony, which is large enough for the entire family to enjoy.
Special Note about Bathrooms
Cobia is one of the few homes in which every bedroom has its’ own full bath. Each one is hand finished to coordinate with the bedroom. Each is furnished with oversized, soft towels for your comfort.
In the backyard you will find the grill, and shady area for dining out. We have installed our own out door shower for rinsing off beach sand.
Your trip to the beach or community pool is quick and easy with the use of our private golf cart (no need to rent)and a complete beach set up with umbrella and beach chairs (no need to rent).
Cobia Cottage is equipped with two adult bicycles (no need to rent) for touring the scenic Highway 30A bicycle path or taking a breezy coastal ride along the paved 19 mile Timpoochee Trail.
For the golfer, Cobia Cottage is only 1 1/2 miles from Santa Rosa Golf and Beach Club. This is a beautiful course, featuring towering pine trees and the area's only gulf fronting holes. The Sandestin Resort, home of the Boeing/Sandestin Champions PGA tournament, has three top rated courses.

We found Cobia Cottage very clean, well maintained and comfortable --we had 7 adults. It was really nice for each of us to have our own bathroom connected to our bedroom. We enjoyed having our "granddogs" with us as well. Made for a special Christmas for all of us. We would highly recommend this property and hope to return soon ouselves. i cant even begin to describe how wonderful this house is. we came with a group of 6 and 3 dogs and had a phenomenal experience. the house is well equipped for anything your party would want to do and they even have a golf cart to bring you to the beach (its a short walk though). in a great neighborhood and close to so much fun stuff on scenic highway 30A. we cant wait to go back!

Cobia Cottage offered my family a perfect vacation free from the traffic and noise of the more-commerical side of the Gulf Coast. Just a short walk (and even shorter golf cart ride!) and you were at your own private beach or beside the relaxing swimming pool. The beach house provided enough space for the 8 of us without feeling as if we were always on each other's heels. We will definitely find our way back to Blue Mountain Beach. :)

Cobia is a great cottage. The golf cart made it easy to get to the beach. What was exceptional, we thought, was the attention to detail that the owners gave the cottage. Everything we needed was always there, and the decor was colorful, bright and happy without being overdone. We would definitely recommend this well-planned cottage. It's a great vacation value!

We enjoyed our stay sooo much at Cobia Cottage that we did not want to go home. The house is decorated so cute. We had plenty of room. The owner was a pleasure to deal with on the rental. We hope to make many more trips and stay at Cobia Cottage.
