Very quiet safe area..THIS IS THE PLACE TO COME WITH SO MUCH TO DO; BUT WANTING TO DO NOTHING AT ALL. Carpet replaced in Jan. 2009. New linens and mattress in master. Only one mile from Seaside's grassy Amphitheater offering a "Calendar of Events" including concerts, movies and theater performances. Seaside is noted for having the most charming pastel colored cottages with white picket fences and "open market shopping" with outside eateries. Beautiful Rosemary Beach is only 3 miles away. Drive 15 minutes east to Panama City Beach or 15 minutes west to Destin. Destin offers the largest "Outlet Mall" in the US. Or visit some of the most wonderful boutiques such as "So Ho" and open market shopping. Across the street from Beachcrest you have a "Fresh Produce" retail store and a "One of Kind" Boutique. One of the best seafood markets is just a block away and they will prepare your food for you. There are 6 State Parks ... all very close. There is a "bike shop" across the street and there are endless bike paths all along 30A. Parasailing, jet skiing, lots of outside eateries...Publix grocery store less than half mile away. Lots of art with exhibits most every weekend....the art includes all types of jewelry, painting, furniture, accessories for the home, photography...TRULY SOME OF THE MOST UNIQUE ART MINDS ARE HERE. Antique shops everywhere with some wonderful "finds".
Triple sliding glass doors open to the gulf from your family room and the master bedroom...The sounds of the waves are "Music to your ears". Truly the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets you will ever experience... and you don't have to leave your balcony to enjoy them. You can enjoy "dolphin watching" from your balcony also. The turquoise water and white sandy beach make sunbathing and seashelling so much fun. You can fish from the beach or visit the many local lake "fishing holes". You won't find nicer golf courses than what you have here. VERY CLEAN CONDO WITH NEW CARPET IN JAN, 2009. A playground/picnic area just next to the heated pool offers outside gas grilling.

  • Handicapped Accessible (may have limitations): I recently had foot surgery and had to be in a wheelchair/and used crutches and found the condo suited my situation just fine.

  • Kid Friendly: PERFECT FOR FAMILIES...NOT OVERCROWDED (smaller building) which accounts for more beach and uncrowded pool. There is a playground next to the barbeque area (which is next to the pool). You can sit on the balcony and watch your children in the pool if you can't be down at the pool. Full security on site and full service office from 9:00am to 5:00pm for help with anything you may need. Coded door from breezeway to pool area provides security also. Owner always available via phone to take care of all your needs.

  • We had a great vacation in Seagrove! The area is quiet and offers everything you need without the crowds. BeachCrest was the perfect place to stay, the condo was convenient to everything, very comfortable and well maintained. You couldn’t ask for a better view or easier access to the beautiful beach and pool. I already miss starting off the day with a cup of coffee out on the balcony. Having a nice kitchen and big TV at our disposal when the rain chased us indoors was great too. Pat is a pleasure to work with and is more than happy to share her knowledge of the area. She sincerely wants to be sure you enjoy your stay and love Seagrove as much as she does. This will certainly be our first choice for our next stay!

  • We just returned from this condo and it was the nicest place I have ever stayed at while visiting the Destin area the last 10 years. We were a small group of four women that take a trip each year and we all agreed that it was WONDERFUL.The pictures from the site are exactly right. It is clean and very easy access to beach. We watched the dolphins each morning too. Pat is wonderful to work with and we were a little concerned because we usually work with real estate companies. We had NO PROBLEMS and got more than we expected. Please just don't request the week we want next year :)

  • The condo is beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the beautiful view and 2nd floor location. The location is perfect, close to all of our favorite restaurants. Seagrove is a wonderful place to visit - a great beach getaway without all the crowds!

  • We were extremely happy with your beautifully furnished condo. Your linens and COMFY king bed gave me the best nights of sleep in weeks! Dolphins welcomed us on our first morning. We bicycled to Seaside and Watersound. We ate fantastic seafood all week - Goatfeathers (of all names) as our favorite. Dolphins came back to tell us goodbye. No one wanted to leave. So, as Arnold would say.... "I'll be back".

  • The "Perfect Vacation" destination! The condo was well maintained,clean,decorated nicely with easy access to the beautiful emerald beaches. The view was great, spectacular sunsets and dolphin watching from the balcony. Ideal place for a quiet and relaxing family vacation. We enjoyed the uncrowded beach,bike riding,kayaking,shopping at Seaside,delicious food and all the comforts of home. Thanks to the owners, Pat and Jim for all the personal attention given during our stay. The accomidations were great! We hope to visit again.

  • We have been visiting Seagrove Beach since the late 1950's and Beach Crest is one of my favorite palces to stay. The condo was clean and decorated very pretty and I can not even describe how comfortable the beds are, which is a big plus. Mrs. Pat went the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect for us.   • Seagrove is wonderful. The owners of this condo are great to work with! If you have never been to the gulf coast, you have missed out. We have always stayed in the hustle and bustle of Destin. This was such a welcome change. The condo was very nice. Easy access from the elevator. Beautiful views of the dunes, gulf and you could watch your kids in the pool. Very nice accomodations w/ everything you need to stay/eat there for a week. What you will find in seagrove is great places to eat and it is perfect for bike riding. If you dont want to bring your own there are several shops very close by. You can ride to seaside for great shopping and eating. IT is so much quieter then destin yet it is still close enough for an easy drive in if you want to do the outlet shopping or eat there. You can even take Hwy 20 for quick access as far as Ft. Walton. Panama City is just as easy. They have a new mall w/ Ron Jons Surf Shop, Margarettaville, Backporch, and tons of both large and small shops. We loved our stay there and there were so many families with children that the kids made a lot of friends and you could relax on the beach while they played in the waves and sand. The owners were great to work with. Couldnt ask for more!

  • Our family of 5 experienced a very lovely stay in this unit. It was very clean and the comfort of the 2nd floor made for great ease - and a spectacular view. We enjoyed watching dolphins and being able to hear the ocean with the doors closed. The master bedroom bed was so comfortable, with a great view. We were so pleased with the family atmosphere at the beach - so quiet and uncrowded. But our favorite part was the bike rides just 1 short mile to Seaside. This location was excellent if you enjoy spending time in the Southen Beach neighborhoods.

  • My family and I were lucky enough to be set up for my sister in laws wedding weekend in Mrs. Pat's condo. It had spectacular view and her extra attention and information about the area was very helpful. When we are back in this area, I will surely return to this location.
