  This house is amazing! We got married on the North Shore and many of our friends flew over from the mainland. We were able to house most of them in this house and had a wonderful time catching up with all of them. This was the perfect environment for relaxing and bbqs! The bedrooms and bathrooms are beautiful and the beds are very comfortable. The main kitchen and living area are perfect for gatherings. We then spent many evenings on the patio watching the waves roll in. So peaceful and such a joy to stay here. Many great memories. We have all decided that we need to make this an annual occurance! Thank you!

  What a fabulous home and location. We were 21 persons--parents, children, their spouses and grandchildren. The accomodations were ideal for each . The pool table kept the eleven gents happy when not enjoying summer activities. Mike recommended John Adams as a chef and he worked perfectly in the fabulous kitchen preparing us gourmet meals and appetizers and desserts. Miriam was the most solicitous of managers--when we needed more flatware--she was there within the hour; when we needed more cups--she brought twelve. The beach is endless and humbled us by its vastness. Listing photo's told no lies. Local snorkeling is great. We wished the wine cooler was operational. Fans in every room were a boon. The view from every room was amazing. The only complaint we heard were the roosters awakening the family by 3:30 in the morning--while it was still dark!! What were they crowing about?? All told--a memorable and happy vacation.

  We came from Australia as a group of 18 adults + 1 2yr old not sure of what to expect. We were really not disappointed. The hosts (Mike & Miriam) were great, the house was almost perfect and the location was 10/10. In my opinion the house is very comfortable and perfect for 6 couples plus a few kids. There is a 7th bedroom on the ground floor with external access access only that could sleep a 7th couple but would be more suited to a couple of teenagers. My only criticism is that there needs to be more detailed information about the sleeping arrangements, and more photographs so as to assist us to make a more informed decision prior to arriving there. To say it sleeps 21 is technically right, if you were a bunch of surfers who didn't mind where they slept this is perfect. A floor plan also would have been helpful. There also needs to be a detailed guide in the house showing how everything works... this was not available to us for some reason. The north coast of Oahu seems to change dramatically depending on the time of year that you visit, so depending on your needs choose carefully is my recommendation. We were there in Feb just after the major surfing comps and when the surf was still running at around 10 - 12 feet. The seas on the north shore surrounding the area can be quite wild and treacherous for the unwary or inexperienced. The swell drops around March and I think would be more suited to families and children in particular. Whilst Sunset is beautiful it's really not a swimmers beach, there are some great locations in the area where families can go if the kids want to swim safely. We found Waimea Bay fantastic for swimming when the seas are flat and there are some very nice sheltered beaches in and around Turtle Bay Resort that the public have access to. Oh! and don't forget to visit the shopping outlets.. you'll need a rental car. Overall, highly recommended... I hope my comments help. Stay safe and have fun! PJT - Sydney

  We were fortunate enough to stay at this amazing house and have our wedding on the beach directly in front of it. With stunning views, direct access to the beach, this house was not only perfect for our wedding but more than met our needs as a vacation home. The rooms were spacious, modern and well decorated. The kitchen was a chefs dream, and the dining room was the ultimate setting for a quaint, romantic reception. We had the best time. Michael, from start to finish, made our stay very comfortable. The house has just been renovated and is everything it claims to be, elegant, modern and sophisticated. The photos do not do it justice. The experience, the atmosphere, and the people make this place unforgettable and somewhere we dream of returning. If you're looking for a beautiful house with a great location for surfing or just to take in the waves, this place is where you want to be.  Michael was a fantastic host, making himself available at all times and recommending nearby restaurants for our late night dining. Thank you Michael for making our first trip to Hawaii a memorable one, and allowing us the honor of having our wedding at your beautiful place.

  The House at Pipeline on the North Shore of O'ahu is by far the most beautiful house on the North Shore. The new remodel turned out amazing with the new paint inside and out defiantly added Class to an already Classy and beautiful home. My wife and i spent or 30th wedding anniversary in this home over the past 10 days and cant wait till our next journey to the north shore to stay at this place again. Also all the amenities in the house are defiantly sent for either a couple or a big group of friends and family, just an amazing home on an amazing beach.... Can you say paradise!!!

  We stayed here with my husband's adult nieces and nephews - 8 of us in total. The house had recently been painted inside, and according to the man who was working on some exterior repairs, lots of work had been done recently. It was clean and in great shape. The only issue was that there were some locks on the sliding glass doors that faced the back of the house (ocean side) that weren't functioning properly. The bedrooms are spacious and the master bedroom has its own connected living room with two large futons. It would be perfect for a family with children. We enjoyed the kitchen which was large enough to allow us all to socialize during meal preparations. We loved sitting on the deck watching the surfers. The downside is that the surf looked too dangerous for casual swimming/wading, although I read that it is calmer during other times of the year (we were there at the beginning of October). The location is spectacular - away from the traffic and crowds in other parts of the island, but close enough for day trips. We want to return with my side of the family as it really is a perfect spot for a family gathering - big rooms to spend quality time together, but plenty of space so you can have your own private, quiet time too!
