Cypress Island is a small, secluded enclave located in Pelican Landing, a 2400 acre tropical retreat with unmatched beauty and amenities. At Pelican Landing, you have free access to a private 34 acre beach park reached by a lovely 10 minute water shuttle ride across Estero Bay. Other free amenities for our guests include a championship caliber tennis center, kayak/canoe park, bocce courts, new fitness center, sailing marina, and miles of walking/biking paths.

Cypress Island is surrounded by a cypress preserve and lakes, and is only accessed via bridge. With only 64 units, Cypress Island has a true residential feel with mature trees and landscaping and none of the usual "condo surrounded by parking lots" feel found in other areas. This place feels like a real home and neighborhood with all the fun and sun of Southwest Florida, but none of the crowds. Some neighborhoods have well over 100 units sharing roads, parking, and the pool/grill areas, so choose carefully.

Our unit is a convenient ground floor layout of over 1900 square feet including the Lanai. It is located in the last building at the end of a cul-de-sac, ensuring privacy and quiet. Additionally, it benefits from a preferred southern exposure making it light and bright through the day, and enjoys a view of a lush landscaped area and the cypress preserve for some of the best bird watching in the area. But, it is only 50 yards from the heated resort style pool with waterfall and hot tub, so you have the best of both worlds.

Unlike many condo floor plans that place the kitchen in the middle of the space with limited natural light, our kitchen is on the back wall alongside the lanai and living/dining area. This allows large windows and plenty of natural light (see photos). Also, the bedrooms are truly separated from the living area, and each other, ensuring privacy and quiet for you and your guests. In fact, the guest bedroom and bath can be separated from the living area by a pocket door, making it into a true second master.
