Gentian Cottage is truly a wonderful place to stay, set on an elevated site overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Aran Island, Galway Bay, all the while the rugged Burren landscape sweeps up from the ocean and casts its magic spell on all who stay here.
The interior of the cottage is tastefully decorated, with all modern conveniences, all bedrooms ensuite, and a large open fire in the living/kitchen area, also there is a very cosy sunroom which provides amazing sun sets which are not to be missed.
The cottage is on the verge of the Burren walking routes "Green Road" which are suitable for hikers and walkers alike, for all to experience the amazing scenery of the Burren and Ocean.
Blue Flag beaches, such as Fanore and Lahinch are all within a 10 minute drive and there is also an abundance of attractions to see such as The Cliffs of Moher, ferry to Aran Islands, Ailwee Cave.
Doolin village which is famous for its traditional Irish music and amazing restaurants and ' Creamy pints of Guinness' is just 2 miles from the cottage and Lisdoonvarna village famous for is Sulphur Baths and sulphur water is only 2 miles the opposite direction.

We also provide private tours of Ballinalacken Castle which dates back to late 13th early 14th Century. (Situated about 800 yards from Cottage)
