Peaceful Pines is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 1,600 square foot, two story home with private hot tub, situated amongst the pine trees in the glorious and abundant Tahoe Donner resort in the town of Truckee. The home comfortably sleeps 8 (two queen beds; 1 full bed, 2 twin beds).
Breath easier while on vacation. The home is extremely allergy-friendly. Everything in this home is new, top to bottom. Wood floors throughout.
The main floor has the great room with a gas fireplace, 47” HDTV, dining area, kitchen with gas stove, bathroom with twin sinks and a shower. The master bedroom is also downstairs and has a queen bed, large sitting area, separate work area, and 32” TV.
Upstairs has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the other with a double bed and twin bunk beds. The bathroom has a bathtub/shower. The loft is home to a queen sofa sleeper, 37” TV, with a Nintendo Wii. The game table seats 8 for cards or board games.

We live in Silicon Valley, miles from fresh air, towering trees, and elbow room. For over 20 years, our family and extended family have made Truckee and the surrounding area our destination for our annual family vacations. We’ve rented in South Lake Tahoe, Tahoe City, Truckee, Squaw Valley, Tahoe Donner, Donner Lake, Kings Beach, Incline Village, and yes even Reno. Each area brought unique experiences, but the common thread through all those rentals was that it was a vacation with the family.
Sadly it took the passing of our elder family members for us to realize what was important in our daily, hectic, congested lives—time together and the memories that time creates. We followed the wishes of our parents and purchased the home we now call Peaceful Pines. By making our home available to you, you too can create your own family memories. Our hope is that you will look back on your holidays as treasured gifts, just as we have.

We stayed with our friends here and it is definitely one of my favorites! The vaulted ceilings make the entire downstairs living area and the upstairs loft very spacious. We loved our bedrooms and had plenty of space for our stuff. The downstairs Master suite has an area with a desk and couch! The kitchen is very nice and contemporary and there is plenty of area to work in it. Even with all of the space the house feels very cozy due to the way it's laid out. It's the best of both worlds. The hot tub was awesome too:)) Would absolutely stay here again.

We have stayed in this this cabin at least 6 times. It's a perfect combination of modern conveniences and appliances meets rustic cozy cabin. Need to get your HD/Blu Ray DVD fix? Try 3 HD TV's to suit your needs. Want to sip a beverage in a hot tub surrounded by Pines while snow falls on your head? Try their modern and always working hot tub. Want to cook up a gourmet meal? The modern stainless steel appliance kitchen can help even the most rudimentery cook be a master chef. Enjoy the fireplace, enjoy the Wii, enjoy a game of Poker on their Poker Table. This is the perfect place for you!
