When you're at our cottage, actually located in the town of Seaside, you'll want to kick back and relax and just move at a Snail's Pace!

This 2 bedroom/ 2 bath cottage is just a hop, skip, and a jump to the beautiful, sandy beaches of Seaside and home to a tower tall enough to enjoy the most colorful Gulf Coast sunsets around! Our cottage is located only two blocks from the town square where you can enjoy dining, shopping and entertainment, and less than 2 blocks to tennis, pool & fitness center.

Enter Snail's Pace through the screened in porch complete with new love seat, chairs & tables that brings the inside out into the wonderful Seaside weather - a great place for your morning coffee or just great conversation. Enjoy a cozy family room with new 42" flat screen HDTV, and DVR. A spacious, well equiped kitchen and dining area await you on the main floor. A bathroom with larger shower & outside access, plus a closet stacked washer and dryer complete the main level. Upstairs you'll find the two bedrooms and a newly remodeled second bathroom/shower combo. The master bedroom has a king size bed, ample closet space, and flat screen TV. The guest room with its queen size bed with brand new mattress & box springs and flat screen TV has french doors to your own private balcony. The balcony has a table & chairs and glider - a great place to "catch some sun" read a book and just enjoy life.

Also provided is a portable crib, child gate, high chair, bed rail and numerous games and puzzles that are sure to keep the kids busy after a long day at the beach! (No need to haul all of your own baby equipment with you!)

Up one more level you'll find the best seats in the house! Complete with sitting area and flat screen TV, the tower will quickly become your favorite room in the house! The view of the town and of the gulf are awesome. Kids love to play up here and adults love to come up and have cocktails and enjoy the sunset. There is a small balcony off of the tower.

There are chairs, umbrellas, toys, and floats provided for your beach enjoyment.

WE ALLOW ONE SMALL, NON-SHEDDING DOG PER RENTAL ($100.00 SURCHARGE)!

The Seaside Amenity Pass is included with "In Season" rentals. (April 3-September 7) The pass is available other times subject to additional charge.

  • We had a wonderful week's stay at Snail's Pace! The location of the house is perfect. Close to the beach and town center, but far enough away for peace and quiet. We parked our car and didn't move it for the entire week. We walked everywhere. The house is nicely furnished, and we particularly loved the screened porch and the tower. We would definitely rent it again.

It's proximity to everything makes it the ideal location and the fact that it's pet friendly allowed us to travel with our 7lb Maltese, Teddy, who enjoyed walks and bike rides in a basket around Seaside!

  • The cottage is cute and comfortable. We used the tower room as a third bedroom; my son slept happily on the large couch. The location is ideal. No soap/detergents/windex on hand, so remember to pick some up on that Publix run.

  • My husband and I just spent 3 days at Snail's Pace and didn't want to leave. Everything about this adorable cottage is perfect, from the relaxing decor to the at home amenities, but we especially enjoyed the sunsets and views from the tower and the walk to the beach and pavilion. There was always something going on in the square and who could bear to leave behind this quaint, Cape Cod type community. We are definitely coming back.

  • We had a delightful vacation getaway at Snail's Pace. It a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the extra luxuries the homeowners have provided for their guests. From the view of the ocean, seen from the tower room to the decor, it is among the nicest. The fun activites in the surrounding area make it a great place to vist and we are planning a return visit to this unique community.

  • This home is a little slice of heaven. Every amenity has been thought of to make your vacation carefree and relaxing. It is so close to the beach and walking distance to anything else you might need. We will definitely be making a return visit!
