We booked this unit after seeing the listing and speaking to the owner on the phone. I could tell that these folks taake a personal interes in their house and they immediately made us feel like welcome guests. The description was very enticing and the actual place even exceeded that! The unit was clean and comfortable and fully equiped, all we needed was sunscreen and food during our stay. The Cabana pool was nice and the beach filled with chairs. The bar staff was friendly. We spent a lot of time canal side as we had breakfast at sunrise in the morning and spent the afternoon with drinks in the lounge chairs. We enjoyed Sparky's Landing for dinner a few times. We will be returning in the summer of 2012, Thanks!!
Recommended for:Families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with teenagers.
