  Casa Papita is a beautiful place very close to the beach. The sound of the surf lulls you to sleep, and Mar is truly an artist! The garden is truly wonderful and creative, which adds to the unique construction of the cottage.

  Absolutely beautiful villa right across from the beach. The property is well maintained, well appointed and very clean. Mike and Mir have been in the area for years and are a wealth of information. The pictures are exactly what the villa looked like. The villa is on Mike and Mir's gated property, there house is just to the left of the villa. Very friendly family dogs and a beautiful garden.

  We spent 8 nights at Casita Pepita and could've stayed another 8 easily. The relaxed atmosphere and cozy ambiance was just what the doctor ordered to recharge and chill out. Mir & Mike were very helpful in getting us oriented and arranging massages and side trips. We got a nice feel from them of what it was like living there full time which made us feel welcome at our new home away from home. The casita was well appointed and comfy and private. Cooking was possible for fairly simple meals, and perhaps a few additional items would enhance this to encourage us to not leaving the place for dinners (a colander or salad spinner and maybe a microwave - I know, perhaps too civilized for here...?) Really minor, and half the fun was figuring out how to make it happen with what we had to work with. Mike outfitted us with everything we needed to hit Cerritos beach, and the excursion to Espiritu Santos out of La Paz was a highlight - swimming with the sea lions, seeing dolphins AND even a whale, were very special experiences. Memorable meals were Los Adobe, Danny's Place, Londi's at Todos Santos Inn, La Casita and the fish taco place on Del Huerto (Jose's place). I would totally skip Hotel California's bland, uninteresting food (go for their spicy margaritas). In Pescadero, Carlito's was ok, but shockingly expensive for lunch, and his attitude was bordering on downright hostile. A great vacation, easy direct flight, easy drive up from Cabo (on a brand spanking new freeway), and the oasis garden right on the ocean a haven to daydream, read, or just nap. Bottom line, I highly recommend Casita Pepita and Todos Santos - well worth a visit. We did not want to leave. Thanks again Mir & Mike, for a memorable time!

  Could not have had better owners who went beyond the call of duty to make our stay the delightful one it truly wqs. We were immediately integrated into the local US expat society which comprised some of the most friendly people one would ever wish to meet. The location is perfect with the casita private from the main house with a wonderful view.We could not have made a better choice and returned to Texas with memorable experiences from our Christmas vacation that will be easy to remember for a long time..

  Beautiful casita, warm and friendly hosts. Mike and Mir made us feel like family, but never intrusive. Gave all kinds of recommendations that were spot on. Hope to go back one day. And that bed! Slept better than I have in years! Thanks guys! Sorry it took so long to get this review done. Hope your trip to New Orleans was as good as ours was in Todos Santos.

  We had the most relaxing vacation at such a lovely place. The Casita was everything we had hoped for and even more. Loved listening to the ocean at all hours of the day, especially when we could hear them "thumping" in late at night. A real treat was being part of the turtle release and how lucky we were that they were the leatherbacks that night. We loved walking the beach every day and seeing whale blows every 15 seconds. We both enjoyed the garden, Daryl especially, being able to have great conversations with Mir about all the plants she had and the way she had designed the garden!! Mike and Mir were such warm and gracious hosts. They were always available if we had any questions and even provdided us with a cooler and beach chairs for our day at Cerritos. They told us about Baja Beans and we enjoyed a whole morning there enjoying the coffee and muffins. Mike and Mir invited us for breakfast and great conversation one morning. Thank you. The town of Todos Santos has still been able to maintain the small town Mexican feel, which we absolutely loved. We felt quite lucky that we were able to attend the Music Festival a couple of nights. We are already dreaming of returning to Casita Pepita and look forward to our next vacation there.

  great place, wonderful hosts. location with ocean view is exactly what we were looking for. casita is perfect for 2 people. we cooked a number of meals after local shopping, kitche is well set up. improved internet has coverage in the casita. todos santos has it all, if your looking for low key samller town. we will be back

  We stayed with Mike and Mir for 3 nights and their place on the ocean is incredible. Just across the road outside their front gate you can walk to the oceanfront and see gorgeous sunsets, huge waves, and baby sea turtles (at least, when we were there - I think the big sea turtles come in at some point). We spent a very enjoyable sunset on the beach helping a bunch of locals release baby sea turtles into the sea, an activity which takes place basically every night in the fall. The casita is great, air conditioned, and well sealed - I did not see one Baja spider inside the house! There is both an indoor and outdoor shower and the king bed is super comfortable; my husband and I spent a full day lazing and reading in the house and on the patio. Mike and Mir have lots of good suggestions for things to do and they invited us to come eat tacos with them on our last night. All in all, we had a blast there and highly recommend a stop at Casita Pepita if you make it to Todos Santos.

  Mike and Mir were gracious hosts and very approachable with questions. The casita was fantastic! It's very comfortable and had everything we needed. What a wonderful waterfront location, perfect for sunset viewing (and we saw them all). We felt very welcome, safe, and 'at home' from the moment we arrived. Beautiful garden! So many outdoor activities available and a variety of beaches - we were treated to a favorite activity Tuesday at 7:30 - the secret single track. We tried to take Maggie home but were thwarted. Can't wait to see her again!

  We had the most amazing time at Casita Pepita during the 2011 holidays. Casita Pepita is in the most desirable neighborhood in Todos Santos. The casita looked exactly like the pictures in the listing and exceeded our expectations. Mike and Mir were invaluable and not only did they graciously act as hosts, they became lifelong friends. We have so many memories: whale watching from the rooftop; horseback riding on the beach; hiking for miles and seeing no one; swimming with the whale sharks & sea lions; participating in the home show; eating great food: La Casita, Baja Bean, Suki's, Michael's; meeting lots of wonderful people; hanging out with Mike and Mir and so many more. We got a great taste of Baja and know that one day we will make a return trip. Thanks for everything Mike and Mir, you guys are the best.
