Sebastopol recreational vehicle description
Full House Farm is a small family farm where sustainable living is shared with all who visit. There are many ways to visit the farm and the Farmstay Trailer is one.
The Farmstay Trailer is a 30 foot by 11 foot permanently set trailer (or caravan, as they call it at Farmstays in Europe) nestled under the oaks by the year-round creek next to the yellow main farmhouse, where your hosts live.
The Farmstay Trailer is a private, self-contained dwelling with a dining area, living room, kitchen, a small bathroom with a shower, and separate bedroom with a queen bed. The living area has two barrel chairs and a twin futon-like couch for the kids and room for sleeping bags if you prefer. There is a flat screen 'TV' with streaming movies through Roku and wireless Internet connection.
Outside, you will be able to enjoy a wonderful private deck over the creek with exclusive access to the little beach by the creek, views of the sheep pasture and horse pasture, morning and afternoon sun, 30 feet from the hot tub and access to a propane BBQ grill. Those who are happiest in this unit are ok with small spaces. The ceiling is at 6'3' and the bathroom is very small (there is a little tub for the kids and a shower.) This dwelling is delightfully fun for kids and sublimely peaceful for adults.
Full House Farm is a 23-acre mostly wild land. We have invited the wildlife to be at home here and for that reason you will often be able to see deer, raccoon, bobcat, and fox. Playing in the air currents above the land on a daily basis are the graceful turkey vultures, chatty red-shoulder hawks, and reserved, confident, red-tail hawks. All visitors are welcome to enjoy the private walking trails that wind through the forest, oak groves, and meadows on the property.
While you are here, you can collect your own eggs or learn to milk a goat. Throughout the year, you are welcome to stroll through our organically grown garden to pick fresh fruits and vegetable to snack on. Depending on the season, you can find tomatoes, strawberries, string beans, cucumbers, carrots, peas, and more.
Your stay would include complimentary breakfast foods (organic eggs from our own hens, a loaf of locally baked organic bread, organic coffee & tea, organic butter & home-made jam) for you to cook in your kitchen. There is also complimentary use of two small maintained-for-guests gardens from which you can enjoy supplemental harvesting. All linens are provided and the kitchen is fully equipped. You may also enjoy complimentary participation in one of our Farm Life Tours at no extra charge and if there are none scheduled while you are here we will give you an informal private tour!

About the owner: Dave and Christine are the proud owners of Full House Farm. They enjoy sharing their life with others who are interested in the farm and the way of life they so love. Peace and quiet is in abundance here and Dave and Christine respectfully make themselves available whenever visitors seek involvement. Otherwise, they just revel in knowing their little piece of heaven is being shared.
Why the Owner Chose Sebastopol:
The Main Farm House at Full House Farm was built in 1964. The kitchen and bath have since been remodeled, but the farm atmosphere, with its barns and gardens feels ageless and wholesome. Dave and Christine felt adding this house to the farm was essential to the overall feel of a family farm.
The Unique Benefits at this Recreational Vehicle:
Although the other two rentals on the property are entirely self-contained with full kitchens in which to cook, the Farmstay Trailer because of its proximity to the central activity of the farm offers immersion in the farm atmosphere. The animals are close by and you can even collect your own eggs or milk the goat for breakfast, if you like. This is the real deal.
