When the developer built this 18 unit condominium in 1973, he saved this unit for his family. One look will tell you why. It is the largest unit in the complex and is wonderfully spacious and open. Newly redecorated in 2010 in seaside colors, our unit provides a roomy, calm environment. You will instantly feel at home.
The view from this second floor unit is spectacular.
The living room has a soaring 18 ft ceiling and an adjoining lanai that features a panoramic view of the islands of Lana'i and Moloka'i and the most beautiful sunsets you will ever see. The large sectional couch is a sofa-bed.
The large lanai has plenty of room for afternoon sunning or outside dining for four. Imagine breakfast on the lanai watching the whales breach offshore or having dinner or a drink while watching the sun set.
The well appointed kitchen has the same spectacular view as the living room. New fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave in 2010.
Above the kitchen and overlooking the living room is a sleeping loft with a Queen sized bed. At night, all you hear is the surf.
The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and plenty of closet space.
The bathroom consists of two rooms: one with a walk-in shower and toilet; and the other, with a large vanity and sink.
The grounds are beautifully maintained. Your lanai overlooks the pool which is steps away from the ocean and a beautiful lawn with plenty of lounge chairs. It's like having your own private yard. Great swimming, snorkeling and surfing are right offshore.

We rented the condo for 9 days in April 2012 and it was the perfect vacation spot for us. It started when we walked in the door. The condo is decorated beautifully and so comfortable. Everything was spotless and it felt as if we were the first to use it. The view from the lanai - unbelievable! The description of the unit is accurate, and spot on in describing the amenities. This condo building is a best kept secret. For most of the days we had a lot of beach and we spent most of our time there and in the water. This was our first visit to Maui and we had a lot of trips planned away from the condo. But we found that we enjoyed the quiet pool and beach area so much, we didn't want to leave. It was always clean and well maintained. Many times we were the only guests out there. Lots of snorkeling, paddle boarding, and boogie boarding out in front - it was the perfect spot. Everyday the turtles came to visit - a highlight of our day! We enjoyed the Thursday night get-together so much. The managers were friendly and very helpful. We met nice folks and enjoyed seeing them throughout our vacation. We will definitely be returning to this perfect condo.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

It is a jewel. The atmosphere is friendly. The Managers, Kenny and JoAnn, are welcoming and are Hoyochi Nikko's greatest ambassadors.

Most Thursday evenings at sunset, weather permitting, Kenny and JoAnn host a gathering at poolside with appetizers (pupus). Everyone is welcome. Bring your own drink. Extra beach chairs, noodles and boogie boards are available for you to use.
