  We had a friend who was getting married on Folly 4/21 so a friend and I decided to make a week of it. We found this place on vrbo and took a chance, I should have known by how nice the owner was when I made the reservation that we were in for a real treat. The condo was SO nice! There was absolutely nothing we needed that we didn't find there. The furnishings and decor were lovely. The kitchen was well appointed. The baths were spacious and very clean. The view was fantastic and we loved being on the river! We will definately visit again!! The owner suggested fresh seafood from Crosby's and that was really a hit! Their fresh shrimp were cheaper than the previously frozen shrimp in the grocery store and made a delicious meal!! Try Crosbys and we also enjoyed the Taco Boy on Folly. But nothing beat the beaufort shrimp burger we got on the restaurant on the pier! Had that 2xs and took more friends for each visit!!

  What a lovely surprise. This condo was even larger than the photos displayed. The bedrooms are all located upstairs with two complete bathrooms upstairs as well. The deck off the Master has wonderful view up the river reach as well as the excellent screened porch on the living area. Our son loved fishing off the pontoon and we saw dolphins frolicking just in front of the condo on our first morning. Unfortunately the weather was rainy, windy and cold but the condo was so well equipped we forgot about the bad weather. Such a short walk across the bridge and we were in Folly Beach. Nice walk home after an evening meal. Charleston was only 10 min easy drive away. Thanks Maria well done! We will definitely be back next year. Cheers.

  We are packing up from a two week vacation at this wonderful condo to head home. We visit Folly about 6 times a year and have stayed at numerous places. This is with out a doubt one of our favorite places we have stayed over the years. Marie is so very accommodating and easy to work with. The condo exceeded our expectations, it is so very warm and cozy and very well equipped. We found the kitchen to be stocked with all the necessary utensils, pots/pans, dinnerware etc, which is a rarity. The views are incredible and the porch is a great place to have your coffee in the morning, read a book during the day or have a cocktail in the evening. You will not be disappointed with your stay here at this lovely condo. Thank you Marie for making our Christmas vacation so special! We will definitely be back very soon!

  We had a wonderful time in this condo on a vacation with our children. It is so close to great restaurants and downtown Charleston that we didn't spend much time in the car. The patios were great for watching the sunsets. The property was very clean and well maintained. Marie was easy to talk to and gave great suggestions about local eateries. We would love to come back (with or with out the children).

  This was our first trip to Folly Beach, and we found the condo to be a fantastic spot for relaxing. It was very clean and well-stocked. All the other reviews are correct - the owner takes great care of this place. The best spot was the open balcony off the master bedroom. I spent hours there reading and looking out over the water watching birds and dolphins, as well as kayakers and stand up paddle boarders - it was majestic. The master bedroom is super comfortable - you will get a good night's sleep! The location in relation to the beach was perfect - it's a simple 10-ish minute walk to the ocean, which means you don't have to worry about parking. We will definitely be returning to this spot!

  Definitely one of the best places I have stayed in Charleston. Everything you will need is included and the condo is well stocked and clean. Hope to stay here when I visit Charleston in the future. Marie goes out of her way to insure that your stay is enjoyable! A+++++++

  Marie was helpfull and quick to respond to all questions, and i had plenty unfortunately i dropped the ball last yr, picked a place in tybee island pics of place were 20 yrs old, was a total dive. I have redeemed myself this yr by choosing Marie's place. Very clean, Incredible view, A.C. will freeze you out. Thanks far a memorable vacation, also brought our boat the docking arrangements were incredible, dock master was super.

  I met four high-school girlfriends to relax in this condo. It was well appointed and comfortable, good beds and showers, and just a 10-minute walk to the beach. At first we were wishing we were closer, then we found we could enjoy the beach and local party scene, then retreat to this quiet oasis to sit on screened porch with the fabulous marina view and constant ocean breeze. We ventured into Charleston for one great meal, but ate the rest of our meals on the porch basking in the breeze and each other's company. We had a few unexpected needs, but both the owner and housekeeping responded immediately. Free street parking by the beach if you want to tote coolers and chairs, and just 15 minutes to downtown Charleston. We would definitely stay here again.

  We try to visit Charleston at least once per year. We have stayed at Isle of Palms,Mt Pleasant,Downtown Charleston and Folly Beach. The first two times that we visited Folly Beach we stayed at a different condo. It was nice however it was just average. Then we found this unit and have stayed there on our last two visits and will continue to stay there on all future visits. The owner of this unit has made it very comfortable and you won't find a cleaner condo anywhere.. The furnishings look like new and the two screened in porches facing the Folly River give you an outstanding and quiet view of the river. If yoiu forget anything from home don't worry about it. Marie has provided for all of your needs. Remember the old saying "It doesn't get any better than this", try it and you too will be a beleiver.

  Marie has provided a fabulous property for rental in the Charleston area. The location of this Mariners Cay condo at Folly Beach was perfect for our first visit to both the historic district and the beach. The condo has everything (or more) than you will need during your stay from kitchen supplies, soaps and bath towels to something as simple as providing a Comcast tv channel listing. We appreciated the attention to cleanliness. The screen porch is indeed a wonderful place to relax and take in the sights. It was incredibly easy to get to the historic district. The walk across the bridge to Folly is a breeze. We would absolutely return to Marie's condo if we were ever to visit again.
