The Bear Cabin: a Custom Hand-Crafted Log Home
Year Purchased: 2003
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
Peak 7 West in Breckenridge has it all in terms of being close enough to Main Street (2 miles) and being remote without the crowd at 10,000 feet. Lots of wild life in the neighborhood.
The construction of the Bear Cabin was a labor of love. The structure was built by a log home specialist based in British Columbia using Douglas Fir. As the cabin began to take shape, once the construction was completed, I realized that this is a home to be shared with others. It is my goal to provide a unique and embracing atmosphere that will give my guests memories to last a lifetime.
Most guests say that the photos "don't do it justice" and "it far exceeded our expectations". By reading the guest book I learned what a wonderful time my guests have had, believing that I met my goal.
Wishing you a memorable stay at "The Bear Cabin" in historic Breckenridge, Colorado.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
While staying at the Bear Cabin you will enjoy spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains. Downhill skiing, cross country skiing, and snow shoeing are just minutes away. Take a stroll through the historical town of Breckenridge offering stores featuring works by local artists, fabulous restaurants, the riverwalk, and local culture.
Cross Country, Mountain Biking and Hiking trails with magnificent views of Breckenridge and the Continental Divide.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at The Bear Cabin in Breckenridge! The hand-crafted log home is just as beautiful in person with all its rustic charm and modern conveniences provided. The owner has gone to great lengths to make guests feel welcomed in a warm and inviting atmosphere. You can't beat the location either-about 10 minutes from Main Street! We thoroughly enjoyed the shops and restaurants as Breckenridge is a beautiful city that has so much to offer all year long! I was so impressed with the owner's communication and attention to every detail that I couldn't wait to write a review when we got home. Thank you again Paul for making our family's trip to Breckenridge so memorable!!!!! We'll be back!!!!

We are 2 families that have been renting a property in Breckenridge for the last 11 years now. The Bear Cabin is the most wonderful experience we had, it has everything you want to feel in the Rockies. Paul had been great in making our stay a memorable one and we know where we'll stay next year. Group from Kansas and Texas.
