This amazing house served as our base of operations for my sister's wedding, and truly made the weekend incredible! We cannot express our gratitude for having been able to stay here--after this stay, I think some of us are seriously planning a move to Lexington! Thank you so much for opening your house & making a magical weekend even better.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We had a wonderful stay in your house celebrating our reunion from W & L Law. The location of the house was ideal and the interior and exterior--both--superb. We were able to enjoy all that Lexington has to offer with ample room to spare in the house. The yard and side porch, too, were beautiful and comfortable to relax in. Thank you!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Our second visit to Middleton House and 3rd visit to your "places" (March 12, McDowell Studio). Last August we came for my 61st birthday& this visit, my husband, college sweetheart of 37 years, celebrated Valentines Day-- Just two old "Lovebirds" and our "baby" Chi Buddy now 11 years old. No kids or grand kids just our own escape!! Of course we really love this home! No detail spared! In August we enjoyed the blooming flowers in the gardens& this time loved the wonderful fireplace in the sitting room! Brix was great last nite but tonight we're cozy reading by the fire (thanks for setting it up) on a rainy winter night with take-out from next door. We will be back to celebrate another special time here soon. Thanks!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We rented this property in July for 5 nights. It was a beautiful house, wonderfully decorated, fully equipped, and the owner has thought of so many thoughtful finishing touches. It had all the comforts of home. When we arrived the home was immaculate, and everything was ready for us. The location was perfect, we could walk into town for dinner or coffee in the morning. When we had a question during our stay, the owner, who we so enjoyed meeting, was very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this rental and hope to come back to visit.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
