  Overall we were very pleased with the condo. The location was as advertised, the unit pictures were accurate, the owners were great to deal with and they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable plus give recommendations regarding places to eat & shop. The condo was immaculate and as advertised appliances, etc. we're new. I would strongly recommend this rental to family & friends plus we will probably stay here again. Access to the beach was great plus the beaches were very nice. I would also recommend the 4 Seasons Hotel's DUO restaurant for dinner, expensive but worth the money as well as the Ruth's Chris restaurant.

  We have been to Maui three times and everytime we stay at the palms. This was out first time in this condo and we were very happy. Kara made sure everything was ready for us upon arrival, directions to condo , opening door was 100%. The unit was clean, well stocked with more then expected. We spent 15 days in this condo and will be renting it again. When we left I forgot a personal item , Kara came to the unit and let me in to retrieve no issues. Kara was more than a person renting a unit she truly cared I hope that for her sake the people who rent leave her unit as clean as they found it.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing.

We are very appreciative when guests treat our condo with respect, leaving it in good condition, and most of our guests do! We don't expect our guests to do a deep clean before they leave, though the condo should be left tidy (trash and recycling taken to the dumpster in the parking lot and the dishwasher started). We have had wonderful guests to date and look forward to having you back again soon!

  Our first visit to Cara & Sig's condo was so wonderful we came back a second time! They really have thought of providing every comfort of home you need to make your stay enjoyable. The best part of this condo is the lovely lanai with BBQ, we spent a lot of our time outside or at the pool. We enjoyed reading Cara's blog and got lots of tips for interesting things to see and do. One of the highlights was snorkelling on the nearby beach where we saw two sea turtles and an eel, along with all kinds of colorful fish. There was also a binder in the condo with info about shops and restaurants in the area which came in really helpful. Some of the conveniences we made good use of was the phone, wifi and Netflix. Thank you Cara and Sig for thinking of everything! We will be back again soon.

  This Wailea property was everything we wanted, excellent location and gracious owners. We have used VRBO many times and this was by far the best find. My husband and our 2 adult children loved the pool along with the short walk to the beach for some amazing snorkeling. Looking forward to a return visit next year.

  Our fabulous Maui family vacation was made complete by our stay in Palms of Wailea #503. the well appointed condo was the perfect "home base" for our trip. The furnishings were top notch! We also enjoyed the extra large sliding glass patio doors leading to the relaxing lanai and stainless grill we used every night. Cara has thought of everything when equipping the condo. She was also very attentive to our emails and phone calls. Definitely 5 stars!

  The Palms 503 was an ideal home from home for our family of four, travelling to Maui for a wedding with our children. Cara had thought of every detail, including beach towels and boogie boards. Very clean and well presented. Booking process straightforward, excellent communication from Cara (owner).

  This condo has everything a traveller requires! From the moment we entered it felt like a home away from home and looks better than the pictures - and the photos are great! It is so clean it felt brand new and is by far the best organized condo we have ever stayed in! Super quiet complex - only the beautiful birds to wake you! The fact is, we never had to bring our own beach towels with us nor purchase unnecessary ocean/beach equipment we cannot use at home. Everything you need is ALL in the condo. The kitchen is gorgeous with great appliances and the convenience of a retractable window which makes outdoor eating and cleanup on the Lanai much more easy. The King bed is by far the best mattress we have ever slept on - hopefully will purchase the exact one this year! The linens and towels are beautiful with lots to spare. Comfortable furniture throughout....and clean. The best beach in Maui is only minutes by car and there are many great places to get groceries nearby. Very accessible to the highway which was also a plus each time we hopped into our rental vehicle. My 90 year old father came with us for his 3rd trip to Maui and thought this was the nicest place he has ever stayed! (and he has travelled extensively) Love the fact that we chose this ground level condo - no more struggling with luggage or groceries for this team ever again! The magic touch comes from the fact that the owners live only 3 minutes away and it is SO well maintained! Thank you Cara & Sig.

  This unit was great! It was super clean, spacious and had all the little details taken care of. The kitchen had spices supplied, beach gear was ready to go including beach towels. The beds were so comfortable and the twin beds in the second room were great too. The pool is large and four feet deep every where so we were glad we brought a life jacket for our daughter who can't quite swim on her own. It was nice to have A/C in all the rooms if needed! It was also great to have a personal touch since the owner lives in Kehei and can answer any questions. Her blog is fun to read an informative too! I definately recommend this place if you want a spacious, nice condo to stay in!

  My husband, 2 year old daughter and I stayed here for 11 glorious days this Sept and loved every minute of it! The unit is spacious, VERY clean, well equipped and provides all of the comforts of home. The location in the complex is very convenient to the pool and parking is very good for lugging bags too and from the car. And the location in Wailea is super convenient to great beaches (we drove, due to the gear required for kids, and the best beaches were all within a 5 min drive). We loved going to Ulua beach (2 min away) and Wailea beach (5 min away). Its also very convenient to the restaurants of both Wailea and Kehei as well as grocery stores (Safeway and Foodland). The unit is super kid friendly (no stairs and the hide-away-beds in second bedroom offer lots of space). Its beautiful lanai had peek-a-boo ocean views and provided beautiful sunsets. The BBQ is great and the new appliances (kitchen and washer/dryer) really made our stay comfortable. The new couch and bed in the master were very comfortable, too. Overall I would highly recommend staying here. The owners were professional, personable and very responsive. I would not hesitate in staying here again!

  Nice, quiet, full ammenities, clean, updated, beautiful lanai, big kitchen, comfortable beds and A/C.... gotta love that A/C!!! The A/C units were silent, we could barely hear them running! Awesome salt-water pool and hot tub in the complex etc etc. This place had everything we needed. Like the title says: it was just like a home away from home. Lots of space, a short drive away from Big Beach, and just a couple of blocks away from a smaller, less crowded beach down the road. The owners were helpful and friendly throughout the entire booking process and are readily available if need be during your stay. They left a plethera of information for guests about the island and it's attractions, and tips and tricks regarding the unit to make a guest's stay as easy and stress-less as possible. I'd recommend, as the owners did to me, to stop at Costco and shop for the amount of food you're going to need for your stay and cook your own meals. This place is about 10-15 minutes away from the nearest restaurant. But shopping will save you alot of $$$ compared to eating out 2-3 times a day. If ever we return to Maui, this is the place we are going to stay!

  Owner response: Thank you! We have the nicest guests! There are a number of restaurants closeby, the nearest is a 5-10 minute walk away, by car it would be a 1-2 minute drive to Wailea (Matteo's Pizza, Monkey Pod, Subway, and a number of restaurants at the Shops at Wailea, Mulligan's, and my personal favorite Gannon's at the Wailea Golf Course), and a 1-3 minute drive into Kihei (Sorrento's, 5Palms, Fred's, Moose McGillicudy's, Denny's, Cafe o Lei etc). Kihei also has 3 grocery stores and a number of farmer's markets - definitely take advantage of our fully stocked kitchen and the private BBQ on the lanai!
