A beautiful six bedroom, smoke-free home nestled among palms, magnolia and live oak trees in a quiet Kiawah Island neighborhood situated along the 11th fairway of the Cougar Point Golf Course. This vacation retreat is only a five minute walk from Kiawah Island's ten miles of ocean beach.
The entire first floor of this home is designed for entertaining or family activities. Living and dining areas wrap around a large screened porch.
The adjoining kitchen has been newly remodeled in the spring of 2007 and is spacious and fully equipped allowing service for 16. The kitchen is open to a second large living area, informal dining and wraparound outdoor decks.
This three-story home features six bedrooms and three and a half baths.
The master bedroom on the second floor is spacious and has a large full bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and a dual-headed shower. Additional amenities include a walk-in closet, king-size bed and soothing sauna on a 2nd screened porch overlooking serene flora and the 11th fairway.
The other second floor bedrooms share a bath. Two bedrooms have two twin beds each. The third bedroom has a full size bed with walk-in closet. The large second floor landing is favored as a playroom for kids, stocked with toys, Cable TV, VCR and a desk.
On the third floor there are two additional bedrooms and a full bath. One room has four single beds and the other has a king size bed plus a baby crib. A den, whimsically painted, separates these bedrooms and is furnished with a full size ping-pong table.
The home is furnished comfortably yet elegantly and is close to resort amenities, beautiful beaches, and startling wildlife of Kiawah as well as the fine restaurants and cultural activities of the Charleston area. This house is a perfect getaway for privacy, comfort and convenience on South Carolina’s most exclusive barrier island.
