Charming, Euro-style 1 Bedroom/1 Bathroom ocean view condo is located 200 yards from the crossover at the Folly Beach Pier and is located directly on Center Street!
This cozy flat located in the heart of Folly Beach, South Carolina is perfect for an inexpensive long weekend or weekly getaway with a small family or group of friends (sleeps 6, 2 Queen & a Euro-lounger full sofabed). You don’t need to drive anywhere since you can stroll to the pier, beach, shops, eclectic grocery store, restaurants and nightlife. If it weren’t for the designated parking spot, you might forget where you parked.
Inside is a fully equipped kitchen, complete with a full size fridge, stove and dishwasher; bar height wood dining table/chairs and wall-mounted 37” flat screen cable TV (with DVD) visible from thru-out LR and kitchen. The oversized bedroom has two queen size beds, wall-mounted 32” cable TV and plenty of room for your belongings. WIFI is included as well.
This condo was completely renovated last spring. Warm ambiance created by European “hand scraped” antique style flooring and eclectic international art impart the holiday feeling you are looking for. A renovated bath sporting all new Italian style tile, new pedestal sink, toilet and cabinet, and fantastic water pressure for those post-beach showers.
Linens and towels are provided, and so are beach chairs, but don’t forget your beach towels.
The best of what Folly has to offer beckons at your doorstep. Whether it’s lounging on the beach, walking, fishing or crabbing from the pier, kayaking with dolphins in the nearby tidal river (check out Flipper Finders for kayak rentals and guided tours), boogie boarding or paddle boarding, or just browsing the colorful shops and people watching at your choice of outdoor restaurants and watering holes, you are never far from home. You can eat out or stay in; the kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook meals at home.
Restaurants to fit every taste and style are at your fingertips, ranging from the elegant Blu at the Tides overlooking the Atlantic(tapas along with unusual variety of entrees), myriad seafood and crab houses, upscale winebars, restaurant bars with live music, roofbars, Mexican, sushi, Thai—you name it-- all are within a couple of blocks from your nest, only across the street and up one block from the most happening beach in SC.
Dogs permited on a case-by-case basis, limit of one dog per visit. $75-100 nonrefundable dog fee applicable, depending on length of stay.

What a great time we had at Folly. The condo was cute and cozy. Just right for three ladies from Georgia. Thanks for the rapid response to repair the lamp. Hope to be back again this summer.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, pet owners, girls getaway.

My wife and I spend the weekend on Folly Beach. The condo was clean and as described. It is just a short walk to the beach access. We had a great time on the island and visiting Charleston. Lance was quick to respond to questions and easy to deal with throughout the entire rental process. I would rent this condo again if we return to Folly Beach.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, pet owners.

About the owner: We live in downtown Charleston in an historical house (since 2006) and we both spent a decade or more in the Washington DC area before moving to Charleston. Aydin was born in Turkey but came to the US in 1969 for a career as a rocket scientist, and I am a retired lawyer and legal headhunter. We are both thrilled to have discovered the best place on earth for our permanent home, here in the Charelston area, in large part because of the fabulous beach and tidal creek opportunities here at Folly Beach. We enjoy early morning kayaking in the Folly River where dolphins are regularly found at close range, as well as walking miles on the beach and floating in the warm water, surf fishing and people watching. This past spring, we just fell in love with our new beach retreat. We had a ball doing virtually a complete floor to ceiling renovation (new Euro-style floors, ceiling fans, complex molding, countertops, sinks, bath fixtures, walk-in closet etc). We loved staying in the apt ourselves into early May and look forward to enjoying it again when it's free, though it was rented from the first day we offered it, so looks like we may have to wait for off season ! We welcome you to share our fun at Folly.

There are few places ANYWHERE where you can walk 200 yards to a wide sandy beach with warm water AND be in the middle of the action with walking access to dozens of restaurants, trendy and funky shopping, watering holes and live music, all without getting into a car !
