  • Great Place to Stay in Paradise

"While attempting to find an affordable place to stay on Virgin Gorda for my wife's 30th birthday I stumbled across the Boulder House and I consider myself lucky I did. I was initially somewhat reluctant because I knew that the property was shared with another house (the Cedar House owned by the same family) and didn't want to lose our privacy but I can honestly say the two houses are far enough apart that privacy is not an issue. The property is beautifully maintained and well located, with easy access to Spanish Town and the Baths (not that there is really difficult access to anything on the island). The inclusion of the truck in the rental meant we could visit a different beach every day without the added expense of a car rental or taxi. And when going to the different beaches the house's cooler and beach chairs were great. The house itself was large and the deck offered amazing views of the entire island. The fact that it is on top of a hill meant a cool breeze was always present and air conditioning was never missed. The property managers Howard and Irma were available to answer anything we needed help with and the maid Shirley kept the place spotless. In all I'd recommend the Boulder House to anyone and will probably stay there again when we go back."

  • The perfect vacation rental!

"Stone Tree is the perfect home for a family get-away or a couples retreat. Our last visit to the Stone Tree, we walked every morning. Walking to the beach or the Copper Mine is a great way to start or end your day. This home has everything you need to enjoy the island. The kitchen is the perfect place the prepare meals and eat in or sit outside and enjoy the evenings. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to the Stone Tree."

  • Above + Beyond!

"Sam and her staff went above and beyond in all areas. The website describes this place perfectly. If you want to stay in a very central location - this is a great spot. The house was a nice change from a hotel. You could cook your meals in to save some money. There are a lot of restaurants around...pricey. There were beach toys for our kids (ages 5, 9, 11) to play with. Great fenced in area. The kitchen was well stocked. Having a phone with pre-paid amount on it was AMAZING. Such a nice touch. Easy to top up on the island. Sam has great contacts for everything you could need. We rented a car through Jerry's - great experience. Highly recommend a car - 4WD is a must. There are some steep hills. We felt very safe in Little Carrot Bay and met some locals. The lady behind the Blue House sold us some amazing avocados and mangos. So tasty. Great spot if you want to surf (you can't really surf right outside the Blue House - pretty rocky there...but really close to The Bomba Shack which was a great spot for surfing. We loved Brewer's Bay. Bananakeet and Fish N' Lime were our favourite restaurants. Must take a day trip to Virgin Gorda - must see!!! The Baths and Devil's Bay were breath taking. Best snorkelling in the BVI's (that we saw). The mid-week cleaning was amazing. I would highly recommend this for a couple, or two, or a family. It was a lovely spot. We like to travel to different destinations, but if we make it back to the BVI's we'll be sure to call Sam."

  • Incredible

"Truly a dream vacation! My first time to the island and I will definitely be returning to the island and to this house. Quiet, comfortable, safe, great beach, and very private! Everyone was blown away with the house and location. It offers luxury and views from every room and an amazing open great room for everyone to spend time together when not out exploring. Loved it!"
