  • Casa Fuego in Playa Negra is the perfect getaway!

"Casa Fuego in Playa Negra was the perfect getaway for our family (my husband and I, our two kids, and my parents). The house slept us all comfortably and we enjoyed beautiful views of Playas Sandy and Negra from the bottom and top floor balconies. The pool and pool area was perfect for hanging out, having a BBQ, swimming and enjoying the sun. We had our own private path to the beach where the whole family was able to surf any time of the day! Jarrod and Meaghan were super accommodating and available for anything we needed. What a relaxing, adventurous few days! Thank you!"

  • Will be back!

"Our stay was truly one-of-a-kind! The views from the Diria were incredible. The units provided everything we could have needed. The staff took great care of us. We are forever grateful for the great cleaning service they provided - clean fresh towels, neatly-made beds, and clean dishes. The really took care of us, to ensure we had a great stay. One of our friends organized a trip for using Blue Water and our trip was seamless. Tony took great care of us and made this one of the most memorable trips ever! We will definitely be coming back and asking for Tony again. He was so attentive and provided a great experience for us in Tamarindo. He went above and beyond his work and we are truly grateful for his hospitality. With such a big group i was worried about how our activities would play out, but he was able to accomodated all of our needs. I highly recommend staying at the Diria, the views alone are remarkable, and using Blue Water (ask for Tony)!"

  • A Wonderful First Time in Tamarindo

"Our first time in Costa Rica and we were so impressed. The property is wonderful and the amenities and location are first class! We loved our two weeks at Boca Raca and we liked being so close to everything. Amanseo (sp?) doorman was so wonderful and helpful. He hugged us goodbye!! Joel provided us with some awesome tips on places to eat, do etc. My husband and son loved surfing. The views were awesome and you can view the ocean from every bed:) The balcany was private and we enjoyed many dinners out there! We also had the option of eating out at some wonderful places. We are coming back!!! Thanks Joel! Rosie did an awesome job of cleaning and we appreciated the crisp fresh clean linens!!!"

  • Spacious for Sure and the View is Stunning

"Really enjoyed our nine nights at Casa Colinas. Private areas make for a comfortable place to host friends, as we did. The pool area is beautiful, attended by a huge, mellow iguana and a friendly young monkey one morning. As mentioned in other reviews, Eric is very attentive and having Yohanna come and cook was an excellent experience. Dennis was extremely accommodating with our arrangements. Maybe because the house is so large, it was not quite and clean upon arrival as one might like, as I repostioned the TV and the floor thee was a bit of a mess. We also hosted a minor invasion of fire ants and a scorpion. We took these in stride. We would not want to have heard that major pesticides were applied, so taking care of these was no problem. This can occur anywhere in CR. There are 24 hour security patrols and the gate attendants seem cheerful. The dramatic entry foyer is a huge solar furnace which caused us to use AC more than we would have otherwise. Could use at least one sharp knife in kitchen. Be aware that the location is on a steep hill, which is a long, arduous walk from the Hermosa beach, but a short drive. If you have 4x4 absolutely do not miss nearby beach Playa Penca, which has white Caribbean-like sand, aqua water and nice snorkeling. Recommended."
