"Carla's cottage was amazing, especially the location in Montecito. It's just a few minutes from the freeway (101 and what a beautiful drive! We stayed 3 nights and thouroughly enjoyed our time, definately WAY better than a hotel experience. Carla is on top of her appointments and was super friendly and informative. She truly reflects the laid back Santa Barbara lifestyle and will make you feel right at home. The ammenities were great and all the neighbors were great too. Definately give her cottages a go next time you're in SB, you will be very happy :)
PS. DOG FRIENDLY!!!"

"I looked at this property before but opted for a 100 year old cabin closer to Hwy 1. I was to rebook the 100 year old place but the listing showed not available. I later found the site was not working. How lucky for my family of 4. We found this cabin to be much more accommodating and comfortable. This is a charming home cared for with love and pride. My husband and I spent a great amount of time on the deck overlooking the forest and ridge. Just being, listening to wildlife at night, watching the forest come alive in the mornings. The deck is large and comfortable, it pulled me like a magnet upon rising. My husband was drawn there when the sun set after our day trips to the various parks and towns. He is a star gazer and brought his portable telescope for viewing. He grilled steaks one night & declared he must have a gas grill just like it. The grown kids enjoyed the panoramic views from the rooms & wifi. They were up with the dawn bird watching, enjoying the ridge wake up. The kitchen is spacious, well stocked with a large separate dining room. We dined and played board games in the dining room. It's a perfect floor plan for families. We ran the roads somewhat. The parks and area are otherworldly beautiful. The same can be said about the ridge house. We enjoyed being right there and not always going. We did dine at the local tap house burger night and dined in Monterey as well as shopped. The Ridge is close to everything but far away to wrap yourself and your senses in tranquility and peace. Thank you Cheryl & Jake for your lovely hospitality. We will be back!"

"My childhood friend and I spent three perfect days at Marley Cottage. We walked on the beach, built fires, and enjoyed the close proximity of all Carmel attractions. The cottage itself had everything we needed and provided both of us privacy in the two bedrooms and two baths, all well-appointed. We would definitely return."

"We had the opportunity to sneak away from the midwest winter for 6 weeks in Jan and Feb. We were very fortunate to find this condo as it was perfect for our needs. It was equipped with anything we wanted or needed for our stay. Perfect location, steps away from the beach, heated swimming pool and a workout room, (which was updated while we were there). The small balcony provided a quiet spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine and listen to the crashing surf.
We were just a short drive from the Monterey Bay area sights, wineries and Redwood forests. The area has some great restaurants and shopping just a short drive away and a fun Farmers market within walking distance on Sundays.
The owner met us upon arrival, walked us through the condo and it's features and surprised us with some "welcome goodies". The condo has been well maintained and updated. The owners had prepared the condo with toiletries , paper goods and cleaning supplies so we didn't have to rush out immediately to find a grocery.
The condo complex itself was quiet and also very well maintained.
From watching the sunsets from the beach, discovering local wineries, enjoying the boardwalk, visiting the markets, playing golf, touring the Monterey Bay area, to walking up to the taqueria on the corner,we could not have asked for a better visit and like the other reviewers, really hated to say goodbye."
