Consistently Exceptional!

This was our 7th time staying at this unit and there is a reason for our return year-after-year: it's just an all around great stay. Location so near to the beach, quiet surroundings, well-stocked kitchen gear, lots of space, clean, clear and prompt communication. We love this place!

Wonderful property in a beautiful area. Very clean and well-kept. Instructions/communication with host were clear and easy. Graduation Celebration

We were in the Monterey area with family to celebrate our daughter’s BSN graduation. This is such a lovely, family oriented, beautiful spot that is super clean.We hope to return for future family get together’s. Highly recommend.

We took our four adult children to stay for a post holiday visit. We enjoyed staying right on the beach, and Monterey and Carmel were just a short drive away. Would definitely return again!

Consistently Wonderful

We have stayed here 6 different times, starting back in 2018. There are many reasons we keep coming back! First: location. This is a quiet location, very near to the beach with easy access and a beautiful view of Monterey Bay. If you can tear yourself away from the house and beach, there is access to a pool, hot tub, and pickleball court. The house is spacious enough for up to 9 guests, with 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and a large well-equipped kitchen. Having a covered garage for 2 vehicles is a plus. Karen, one of the owners, is excellent with communication: clear directions and instructions, very responsive if any issue crops up. We've already booked for next year. It's hard to think of spending our "beach week" anywhere else!

Dunes Family Trip

Our week at the beach was delightful. We barbequed most nights and enjoyed the cool coastal weather. Love your fully equiped kitchen. We have stayed at many of the units over the years and yours is the best. Thank you for also including a porta crib.

Gorgeous and secluded beach getaway

We have stayed at Monterey Dunes before, but we really loved this particular house. It was large enough that all the adults in our party had enough privacy, and was perfect for kids. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you needed to make a yummy meal! We even found a big pot for crabs. There are many delicious local spots like Phil’s Fish Market, fruit and veggie stands, and the fried avocados are to die for. Our daughters (2 and 6) had a blast with the sand toys, books, scooters and games at the property, and spent hours playing on the basketball court and in the pool/hot tub at the club house. Host was easy to talk to and gave us lots of helpful information. The beach is amazing. Waves are a little rough for swimming, but walking up and down the secluded shore is great therapy! Highly recommend.

The host was helpful in making sure the condo was scent free and that was necessary for us. She also responded quickly about a needed repair. Our weather was cool but the view and beach walking was great as were the other facilities. A great time!

Monterrey Family Reunion

Had a great time. No issues. Property is well kept and common amenities were nice. Only complaint is that with 9 people there were not enough bath towels. Only 2 to each bathroom. Spent a lot of time washing towels. The views of bay were fantastic. It is a lot closer to the beach than shows in pictures of property on VRBO. Would definitely recommend. Was a great week.

Wonderful stay!

Great accomodations: we had 7 and could have easily had 8 or 9. Rooms wonderful and spaced out, beds comfortable, bathrooms great and plentiful, kitchen well-appointed, living space warm and inviting. Location is EXCEPTIONAL: wake up and look at the ocean. Quiet, secluded, beautiful, peaceful. 30 min to Santa Cruz (did that twice), 20 min to Monterey (did that 3 times). One hour from San Jose airport. Best of both worlds: be away from it all but close enough to whatever you want. Check-in/check-out easy. Great communication with property management.

My children, in laws of my daughter and 2 young grandchildren try to meet at a beach house every year. I think this year was one of the best houses and locations we have rented. Karen gave good instructions for everything we needed to know to use the house. The ocean was angry a couple of days but very calm with mild weather other days. The Monterey Bay Aquarium is only a short drive and my son found a Walmart about 10-15 minutes away for the baby stuff they needed. We had a wonderful time.

This property is very unique as the beach and complex are very secluded. The beach is lightly used and offers walking, bird watching, whale watching, surf fishing and much more without putting on shoes. On the other hand you can explore the areas such as the Pinnacle Mountains and wineries to the east, Santa Cruz 30 minutes north and the towns of Monterey and Carmel 15 minutes south for more adventure and endless activities.
