Quiet, clean, and beautiful
"We stayed for a week with our two boys in their late teens. The free wi-fi gave the boys something to do while my husband and I read books on the newly built screened-in porch. The property was quietly secluded away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Bar Harbor. It was impeccably clean and had just the right amount of space. The four mountain bikes allowed us to tour the carriage roads without having to drag our own bikes with us and my husband and son enjoyed taking the canoe out on the calm inlet off Town Landing Road. We highly recommend the property for those seeking a quiet retreat."

"We loved the house! Slept our family of 5 with room to spare (2 adults, and 3 teenage sons). Awesome, HUGE deck, VERY comfortable mattresses, clean, clean, clean! This place was great. All the kitchen appliances you would need and more. We met family there for a mini family reunion and they rented out 2 of the other houses on the property. Our house, being the biggest, was the meeting place every day and night and definitely was perfect for that. The shared pool is amazing and also very large. We loved it and wouldn't have changed anything. Very close proximity to Acadia National Park and also Bar Harbour"

"There were 12 of us at the house this summer, and the house was a perfect size. It has many bedrooms and bathrooms, and is spacious and comfortable. The kids loved playing hide and seek as there are many secret crannies here and there to hide in. The owner was kind and helpful and had much information on what to do around the island. The house is well situated and central, about a 15 minute drive or less to most trails and places, and close to a couple of good swimming areas. It is in front of a street that has a bit of traffic noise, but it did not ruin our fun time. I recommend it."

"We had an excellent time in Acadia with our family of four (kids 7 & 11) and golden retriever. The house is in the perfect location, a few blocks from Bar Harbor shops and restaurants. We walked to town almost every night for dinner. It was also a short drive to Acadia National Park.
Once we arrive at the house we found several guide books about Acadia and a book of recommendations which was very helpful. The house was clean and well stocked for a week vacation. There was Tupperware, sandwich bags, tin foil and plenty of pots and pans for us to use.
If you are traveling with your dog, the house does not have a fenced yard but it's one block from a large field and has nice sidewalks all around. Definitely take your dog for coffee one morning at the Coffee Hound. Good coffee, cool canine paintings and treats for your dog.
We would definitely recommend this property for your family vacation."
