Charmig, fullt utrustad stuga med privat strand nÀra Acadia nationalpark

Detta Àr en trÀdbevuxen fastighet belÀgen pÄ djupa vatten vid Union River Bay. Besökare kan enkelt promenera till cirka 550 fot privat strand som ger tillgÄng för att lansera kajaker, kanoter och paddelbrÀdor. Skalliga örnar, fiskgjordar, ler, ankor, skarv, stora blÄ hÀger och hamnsÀlar gynnar oss ofta med besök. En förtöjning av djupt vatten kan ocksÄ finnas tillgÀnglig efter överenskommelse. Eftersom stranden vetter mot sydvÀst Àr solnedgÄngar ofta gudomliga.

Den 1200 kvadratmeter stora stugan ligger i skogen, cirka 100 meter frÄn huvudbyggnaden. Det innehÄller:
- Sovrum med dubbelsÀng och eget badrum

- Fullt utrustat kök
- Matsal / frukostomrÄde
- Vardagsrum med vedspis

The loon cottage was well appointed, clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was there for our week visit. Brant and Maggie are gracious hosts. We enjoyed our visits with Brant and dogs Millie and Angel. The dog friendliness of the cottage was great for us with a perfect beach (that our toddler loved too!) and trails to walk. Location is central to many amenities, sites and restaurants. We will be back!

This was our second stay at Brant's place, which I hope will convey how much we enjoyed our first visit. The location of the property makes for easy travel to the main hiking trails in Acadia and to Bar Harbor and Southwest Harbor. The house is well-appointed and roomy and is a couple of minute walk to a long rocky beach by the bay, which my wife and dog both swam in. Brant is warm and friendly and responsive to questions or requests. He has two friendly dogs that our dog had a lot of fun playing with.

From start to finish this was a fantastic stay. Brant and Maggie were very welcoming, and so were the two dogs. They gave us a tour of the guest house and the property. The guest house is surrounded by trees, it is quiet, and all the amenities and features were as described. The beach is a very short walk on clear path around the main house. We saw bald eagles, ospreys, harbor seals and sea glass from the beach. It felt like being in a postcard and we called it home for the 7 days we stayed there. It’s located in Trenton, which makes it easy to access the surroundings, including Acadia and Schoodic. It’s 12 minutes from Ellsworth which has everything you need, plus a good crafting scene, and 23 minutes to Bar Harbor which, along with Acadia Natl Park, is absolutely worth visiting. Brant and Maggie also had good recommendations of what to visit and where to eat.

Awesome stay

Very accommodating and hospitable host with a great dog friendly property! We were very comfortable, loved the beach and are going to miss our morning walks with the dogs. Excellent location to access Mt. Desert Island, Bar Harbor and Acadia. Will definitely be back.

Perfectly Tranquil Retreat

Our family really enjoyed our weeklong stay at Loon Cove. The private beach was perfect for our kiddo explorers/swimmers. The views were amazing. The house is clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. Perfect vacation for us, and we hope to return in the future.
