This cabin is totally amazing. We loved our time there and did not want to leave. The kitchen is well stocked. The bed is comfortable. The winding road to get to the cabin is well maintained and an adventure in itself, wondering what was around each turn. The beautiful scenery, the sound of the creek, and the complete and total privacy! If you want to get away and enjoy the beauty/solitude of nature - this is the cabin you are looking for. The owners are responsive and strive to make your stay the perfect getaway. Cabin is close to entrance to Great Smoky Mountain park and Blue Ridge Parkway. Next time we go this way, will absolutely book this cabin. A piece of heaven on earth!

  • 5 of 5

Loved this cabin .The owners called us to see if we had made it okay that was very thoughtful of them. .The cabin was great beyond expectation. Nice and clean It had everything books games ext. The stream what's out of this world it rained when we were there and just the sound of it when you were going to sleep was out of this world. I bought some firewood with me thinking there wasn't going to be enough when we got there there was plenty of firewood. My 9 year old nephew loved the Chipmunks running around. If I could move in I would

Great Escape

  • 5 of 5

The cabin had all we wanted and more. We loved the drive up, always looking for wild life, and saw a lot of chipmunks. The morning before our arrival, there was a mama bear and her cubs in the creek below. The sounds from the creek are so soothing, I would open the front door just to hear it from inside. I wished we could have stayed more "home" bound during our visit but left often for shopping and sightseeing. The drive up the mountain was never an issue as we look for these same types of roads when we venture off. We could not have been more happy with our selection of this cabin and would recommend to anyone who likes peaceful getaways. Thank you Neil for opening your cabin to us and trusting that we will take care of it like our own.

Cabin was beautiful, views of creek were amazing. The road in, well you need a 4 wheel drive!

  • 4 of 5

The overall trip was GREAT! The cabin was very roomy, clean, and everything we needed was there. Plenty of firewood. Be prepared for some leg workouts going up and down from the creek. I am a bit afraid of heights and the very narrow roads so it stressed me out a LOT! Please make sure to go slow and watch the big mirrors on the trees for oncoming traffic. I would definitely recommend this cabin. (4 wheel drive is required on the road to this cabin at the moment and would definitely be required in rainy or snowy weather). The only reason I gave it a 4 was due to the road.
