AMAZING!!!!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin is totally amazing. We loved our time there and did not want to leave. The kitchen is well stocked. The bed is comfortable. The winding road to get to the cabin is well maintained and an adventure in itself, wondering what was around each turn. The beautiful scenery, the sound of the creek, and the complete and total privacy! If you want to get away and enjoy the beauty/solitude of nature - this is the cabin you are looking for. The owners are responsive and strive to make your stay the perfect getaway. Cabin is close to entrance to Great Smoky Mountain park and Blue Ridge Parkway. Next time we go this way, will absolutely book this cabin. A piece of heaven on earth!

Fantastic location and a beautiful cabin.

  • 5 of 5

The cabin exceeded our expectations by far!! We had an amazing time being secluded and having the wonderful stream below to entertain the kids and help us relax. The cabin was wonderful and has everything you need. We had more than enough room. Everything was clean and the caretaker was very accommodating. The owners are wonderful people and very helpful. A fantastic place we will return to in the future.

Awesome Cabin

  • 5 of 5

We've stayed at cabins in this area many times but this is one of the best. It is very well appointed from the kitchen, to the bathrooms, to the games, to the beds, to the furnishings, etc. We personally enjoyed the wood stove since the weather turned a bit ugly while we were there. The creek and the access to it were also very enjoyable. You'll miss the sound of rushing water as soon as you leave.

As far as the road and location goes, you just need to be prepared and accept that as part of the adventure. To us, it just makes it that much better but we have been traveling Plot Balsam for the better part of 10 years. Never a problem.

Hats off to the owners for creating such a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. We will be back.

What A Great Escape!

  • 5 of 5

I have stayed at many places but, I'd have to say this was the best when it comes to having all the comforts of home. I went for a girls mini-getaway. The cabin was well stocked with anything you might need and then some. The décor was absolutely wonderful and everything was very clean. The rushing stream was wonderful to relax by inside and out! The owners are wonderful to work with. Now, keep in mind, it is pretty secluded. Again, the owners were very up front about the road to the cabin. Four wheel drive is advised. I did not have to use mine as the weekend weather was perfect. A small truck or SUV would be your best bet as turning around in the driveway is very limited. Other than that, this is the great place to relax and enjoy. I will recommend it to anyone I know heading to this area.

Loved this cabin .The owners called us to see if we had made it okay that was very thoughtful of them. .The cabin was great beyond expectation. Nice and clean It had everything books games ext. The stream what's out of this world it rained when we were there and just the sound of it when you were going to sleep was out of this world.
