This cabin is totally amazing. We loved our time there and did not want to leave. The kitchen is well stocked. The bed is comfortable. The winding road to get to the cabin is well maintained and an adventure in itself, wondering what was around each turn. The beautiful scenery, the sound of the creek, and the complete and total privacy! If you want to get away and enjoy the beauty/solitude of nature - this is the cabin you are looking for. The owners are responsive and strive to make your stay the perfect getaway. Cabin is close to entrance to Great Smoky Mountain park and Blue Ridge Parkway. Next time we go this way, will absolutely book this cabin. A piece of heaven on earth!
Thanks Jan, for your kind words! We are so glad you had a wonderfull experience at Running Bear Falls!! Hope you will come back and see us again!
We had a wonderful vacation at Running Bear Falls cabin. The cabin was great and the area is beautiful. The owners were great to work with and made sure we had a great stay. We hope to return soon.
This place was spectacular! More than I imagined!
This place was fabulous! Most relaxing vacation I have had in a while. All accommodations exceeded my expectations. It had all the modern luxuries of home while being about to enjoy the most majestic scenery. One of my favorite things about this place was the creek on this property. I raised the windows at night and had the best sleep EVER! Not that I didn't enjoy the outdoor jacuzzi, firepit by the stream for roasting s'mores, the beautiful flowers and the hummingbirds that had no fear being 12 inches from your face. The kitchen was fully equipped with whatever tool you could be looking for, satellite for tv and phone and an indoor wood burning fireplace. The property manager and owners were wonderful. The property manager scooped guest to bring them to the property, supplied wood for the fire and even does ATV rides in the wilderness! I will definitely visit "Running Bear Falls" again!
The cabin is tucked away between Maggie Valley and
Cherokee, far enough off the road to feel like you're nestled in the woods, but close enough to the main road to reach the grocery store. The cabin has a wonderful bedroom on the main floor with comfortable bed and access to hot tub and back porch. The two rooms upstairs are very nice. There's a game room that could sleep several people and another bedroom just as comfortable as the one downstairs. The kitchen is well stocked and living room very cozy. The greatest feature is Hornbuckle Creek. The size of it is impressive after the rains we had last week. The sound was that of a raging river, perfect for sitting in the hot tub, rocking in a chair, or swing. The property will not disappoint! The property mangers were helpful and kind. They will even sell you a dozen of their fresh chicken eggs! There are plenty of trails to hike, museums to visit, and parkways to drive. I highly recommend this property and look forward to a future stay.
The wife and I absolutely loved your place so did mom dad and cooper. Thanks so much! Can't wait to visit again!
Best place I have ever stayed! Perfect☺️
Loved every minute of this secluded gorgeous nature haven and fully stocked homey cabin! Everything you could possibly need is right there! Caretaker even has a fire ready to start! They had makings for s’mores too! We enjoyed the fire pit by the creek when we made our s’mores ☺️
The cabin and the mountain air smelled soooo good I surely didn’t want to leave! You won’t either! Take advantage of letting the friendly caretaker get groceries for you!
So accommodating on every level! Called to make sure we got there. The caretaker offered to meet us and guide us to the cabin since we got there late. How sweet
We WILL be making this the only place we ever stay for our mountain vacation☺️👍🏻
