This historic neighborhood is filled with stately 100-year-old houses, and views of Commencement Bay.
The condo is minutes to downtown, Old Town, the Ruston Way waterfront, the hip 6 Ave. Commercial district, UPS, UW, the hospital and Point Defiance Park, Zoo, Aquarium, and is a few blocks south of the prestigious private Annie Write School.
The condo is substantially remodeled with a new fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, garburator, Keurig coffee maker with gourmet coffee, a drip coffee maker); two new bathrooms, one with a walk in bath / shower and one with a shower. The unit has a balcony overlooking tree lined Yakima Ave. and a good view of the bay (ocean).

The condo is a dedicated short term furnished executive rental.
The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a comfortable mattress, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower.

The living room has a sofa and chair, and a sliding glass door to the balcony.
The dining room has a table and chairs for 4, and there are an extra 2 chairs (total 6 chairs).
The front door access is from the outside (the building has no interior hallways or elevator). Free onsite parking is available in front and behind the unit. I recommend you use the rear parking for this unit, as no stairs are required for access from the rear parking.
There is plenty of closet storage. Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap), a hair dryer, iron, ironing board and coffee are provided.

Within two minutes by car (or a 15 walk) you are at the best Tacoma has to offer: restaurants, coffee shops, stores, grocery store, the Ruston Way waterfront walking path, the Tacoma Little Theater, downtown, the convention center, hospital, and the Movie Theaters.
Slightly further and you are the Museums of Glass, the Tacoma Art Museum, the Washington State History Museum, the universities (UPS & UW), the Rialto and Pantages Theaters, and Point Defiance Park, Zoo and Aquarium.
Seattle is 40 minuets north on 1-5. Portland is 2.5 hours south. Mt Rainier National Park is 2 hours away. Olympia National Park is 2.5 hour drive.
