Guest access

You will be staying in the entire 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo by yourself. This is not a "shared unit". The condo has a smart lock. You will be issued a unique code to unlock the front door. After a guest checks out their code is deleted, ensuring that no-one else has access to your condo during your visit.

Getting around:

Bus stop in front of building on N. Yakima Ave.

Within two minutes by car (or a 15 walk) you are at the best Tacoma has to offer: restaurants, coffee shops, stores, grocery store, the Ruston Way waterfront walking path, the Tacoma Little Theater, downtown, the convention center, hospital, and the Movie Theaters. Slightly further and you are the Museums of Glass, the Tacoma Art Museum, the Washington State History Museum, the universities (UPS & UW), the Rialto and Pantages Theaters, and Point Defiance Park, Zoo and Aquarium.

Seattle is 45 minutes north on 1-5.

Portland is 2.5 hours south.

Mt Rainier National Park is 2 hours away.

Olympia National Park is 2.5 hour drive.

There is a front parking lot and a rear parking lot. You can use either but your check-in instructions will indicate which parking lot is better for your condo. Use any space. Ignore the Tow-away signs.

This is a small quiet condo building with mostly senior condo owners. Parties, noise, loud music are not allowed.

stay for a show

Nice place to stay. Not set up for truck and cargo trailers, but owner was very easy to work with and we made it work. Beds were new but very hard. Condo had everything you needed. Thanks for Sharing the condo.

Perfectly located in Tacoma with a water view

We came to Tacoma for my son's UPS graduation. The condo was a perfect location for this visit. Close to a lot of nice restaurants and campus. The condo was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Comfortable beds and nicely decorated. I would definitely recommend this place to others and would love to come visit again in the future.

Perfect Location

This two bedroom two bath unit is perfect for two couples or a family of four. The condo was clean and ready on arrival. Ron was very helpful in suggesting local amenities. The quiet neighborhood invites walking to admire the restored homes that line the streets.

Awesome place!

We stayed here for two weeks while waiting to move into our home. The condo was very clean and comfy. Everything you would need for a lovely stay. Awesome views, including a slice of water. The neighborhood was great with nearby grocery stores, a cafe and yoga studios. Felt very safe walking my dog, even at night.

The kitchen was great for basic meals. Responsive owner. Great price! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

NOTE RE CLEANING COSTS:
The $70 I charge for cleaning is what it costs me to pay a cleaner for 2 hours. 90% of guest’s checkout cleaning is covered in the 2 hour fee. But occasionally a guest is abnormally messy. Consequently, we have instituted a policy where we will deduct from your $200 deposit any additional cleaning required, at the rate of $35 per hour, to return the condo to its pre-rented condition.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
