Gorgeous hideaway

  • 5 of 5

Our 2 night stay was perfect at this location. It was such a beautiful, modern home with a true winter wonderland outside. In the middle of a ton of snow covered trees set far back from the road. Such a great up north experience! Tricia the owner was wonderful to work with. Would definitely rent this location again.

Winter Wonderland

  • 5 of 5

The "cabin" is really a beautiful home with all the modern conveniences you could require, including a well-equipped kitchen, plus a lot of extras! The snow-covered trees and slopes provide picturesque views from the many windows while ensuring privacy and a sense of seclusion. Nearby restaurants offer both casual and fine dining following an afternoon of sledding at Sleeping Bear Dunes. The hostess, Tricia, is both very hospitable and accessible to answer questions. We highly recommend the property!

Beautiful cabin!

  • 5 of 5

Over the weekend friends and I stayed here for the weekend. We were in town for the wine tour. Although the house was off the beat in path a little, it was worth the extra drive. The cabin was VERY clean and updated. The only thing Id change is the need for a bigger garbage can in the house. That is our only change. Plenty of everything! No need to pack extras when staying there. Blankets were soft and cozy for the winter stay. Cant imagine what a beautiful place it would be to stay in the summer months. We all decided that we’ll stay there again. And in fact, can’t wait to go back!

Awesome getaway in Michigan wine country

  • 5 of 5

A couples getaway trip. This is in the heart of wine country in upper Michigan not far from Traverse City. The place was beautiful as was the scenery. It easily accommodated 4 adults with room to spare. All the amenities of your own home in a relaxing vacation environment. Our host was very helpful and gracious giving us some local tips on places to eat and visit. The whole weekend escape was very enjoyable. We are already planning another stay at this location.

Beautifully rustic

  • 5 of 5

We rented this house for our girl's trip and it was perfect for the 6 of us! House was spotless upon arrival, beautifully decorated. House was fully stocked with everything we could have needed down to the smallest details....shampoo and soap in both showers, paper products (paper towel, toilet paper, napkins, paper plates), plenty of towels, extra blankets, pillows, games, puzzles, cards, even toothpaste, toothbrushes and razors were available! We bought groceries and made many meals in the house, fully stocked kitchen, all appliances worked great, no problems with anything! Only problem we had was the wifi, we couldn't get that to work, Tricia offered to come try to get it working for us but it wasn't that big of a deal so we declined her offer. She was very accommodating and attentive to our every need. She sent us plenty of info of things to do in the area and recommended places to see. This place is quiet and completely secluded but was close to everything! We hit the wineries, toured Fishtown, did lots of sight seeing and had a fabulous getaway! We saw many deer on the property, giant woodpeckers and really enjoyed waking around the grounds checking out all the beautiful fall foliage. I would totally recommend this place, we plan to come back again!
