Great place for a getaway weekend!
We loved our stay here. Everything was clean and the home was in great condition. The loft was very comfortable, and the kitchen well outfitted. We will consider staying here when we plan our next trip to the Leelenau peninsula.
Awesome house and view!
The property is gorgeous and the house had amazing views and was nice and clean! Close to multiple wineries and distilleries. Also close to the Sand Dunes and the beach! I highly reccomend for a chill and outdoorsy weekend get away!
luxury cozy cabin
A beautiful get-away cabin-- cozy, plenty of extra amenities; decorated with real taste, character, and finesse. Tricia was discreet (greatly appreciated as we had much to catch up on as a family), but always available in case of questions. She went above and beyond in terms of guiding us to different local lakes, hikes, places to go... Inside, house was spotless. We loved building fires in the stove and having long, drawn out dinners after epic hikes through the dunes. We also loved feeling completely alone, surrounded by woods and creatures, but away from neighbors and modern hustle. Huge bay windows give you the impression you are in nature even whilst sitting inside. Time slows here. A beautiful setting and home-- plenty of space and extra amenities you are thrilled to discover... Great for those who want to cook their own meals as well! Kitchen set-up is wonderful. We would love to come back. Thanks again
Our 2 night stay was perfect at this location. It was such a beautiful, modern home with a true winter wonderland outside. In the middle of a ton of snow covered trees set far back from the road. Such a great up north experience! Tricia the owner was wonderful to work with. Would definitely rent this location again.
The "cabin" is really a beautiful home with all the modern conveniences you could require, including a well-equipped kitchen, plus a lot of extras! The snow-covered trees and slopes provide picturesque views from the many windows while ensuring privacy and a sense of seclusion. Nearby restaurants offer both casual and fine dining following an afternoon of sledding at Sleeping Bear Dunes. The hostess, Tricia, is both very hospitable and accessible to answer questions. We highly recommend the property!
Over the weekend friends and I stayed here for the weekend. We were in town for the wine tour. Although the house was off the beat in path a little, it was worth the extra drive. The cabin was VERY clean and updated. The only thing Id change is the need for a bigger garbage can in the house. That is our only change. Plenty of everything! No need to pack extras when staying there. Blankets were soft and cozy for the winter stay. Cant imagine what a beautiful place it would be to stay in the summer months. We all decided that we’ll stay there again. And in fact, can’t wait to go back!
