UNIT # 307 AT KONA MAGIC SANDS!
We purchased this unit in 2017. Since then, we have made lots of upgrades to the already "good bones" of this unit. Check out our great reviews!!
This unit is designed and set up for TWO ADULTS.
We are sure that you will enjoy the recently added new furnishings that make this unit light, airy and comfortable. This is a direct oceanfront studio unit on the top floor (third floor) of this small complex, with popular Magic Sands Beach on one side, and a peaceful park on the other. A popular restaurant, Magics Beach Grill, is available right downstairs.
Private Queen sized bed/mattress, right next to the sliding doors allows you to fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the ocean! The kitchen has been stocked with all the necessities, and then some!
Lots of cabinetry for all your storage needs. All the comforts of home make this unit a great place to enjoy your Big Island adventure!
The unit comes with complimentary WIFI and cable TV, along with an assigned parking space. There is also a coin-op laundry room downstairs for your use, as well as a swimming pool and BBQ for outdoor grilling. We also provide snorkel gear, over-sized beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, picnic blanket, umbrellas and coolers for your day trips to the local beaches.
This building is only three floors, and no elevators, but it's worth the steps to get the private and best views from the building. Our unit is located in the center of the building, right next to the middle stairwell for easy access.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We loved the view of the ocean and the sound of the surf. Great location for access to restaurants and sites around Kona. Enjoyed the outdoor breakfast bar right out the door, and liked the public beach next door.

We had a fantastic magical stay. Has everything you need and so much more (ice chests, boogie boards, beach umbrella, fully stocked kitchen, extra towels, and the lists goes on). Great location. Clean. Host was responsive in solving a problem with water heater. Bed was comfortable and air conditioning was excellent. We loved having a beach and park just a few steps away. Cons: water heater difficulties, coudn't work the TV, internet signal was very weak therefore unusable, toilet paper supply inadequate for one week.

Mahalo for your review! And thank you for working with me on the water heater issue. I would like to mention that you never told me there was an issue with the tv or the internet signal. If I had known, I could have rectified this for you. I cannot address what I am unaware of! The toilet paper supply is explained in my Arrival information, stating we give a "starter supply" of paper goods. That means 2 rolls of TP, and a roll of paper towels in the kitchen. It is up to our guests to purchase the rest for their stay, as this is not a hotel, but independently managed and owned. This is the standard for all the rentable units in our small boutique complex. But, I hope the views and great location makes up for these items! Again, mahalo for your patronage, and review! Jan and Glenn

Loved staying at Kona Magic Sands. My wife and I were lulled to sleep every night by the sound of the ocean waves. The unit was cozy, but clean, lovely, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The owners were responsive to our needs to. Plus the location was perfect - we had family staying across the street, and enjoyed how easy it was to get everywhere we wanted, both in the Kona region and other places on the Big Island. This place was everything we could ask for!
