Amazing! Close 2 Stateline Pool Table, Shuffleboard, Ping Pong Hot tub!

We had an excellent time staying at this cabin and took advantage of most amenities. It's ideal for large groups. There was plenty of room for parking. The kids loved sledding on the hill beside the house. A few things came up upon arrival that the owner followed up on right away. We enjoyed the street level living room and kitchen area the most. The countertop with barstools allowed for easy hangout and catch up conversations during meals/meal prep. If traveling with toddlers, keep in mind the tri-level for littles that are not ready to go up and down the stairs can be challenging from a supervisory perspective. Naps where also missed since the noise travels.

Perfect for our large family stay, I'd recommend for anyone with a need for lots of space.

Downstairs noise can't be heard upstairs, making it perfect for a family with kids upstairs with adults who'd like to stay up a bit later chatting.

Truly enjoyed our weekend here! We had 15 people and still had plenty room for extra people. They had everything we needed, and then we just handled our basic store run! The owner, Kris, was so awesome! He was so kind to drop off firewood for us on our first day! (I asked where we could find some firewood, and he recommended the store, but then kindly came and brought us some anyways!). The house was always warm- we were never cold that’s for sure! There was always something for us to do! Games downstairs, Xbox, board games- we truly enjoyed the total “cabin vacation”. There was WiFi but most of us put the phones away and didn’t use it much. I mean, I could keep going and going, this place was just overall awesome, cozy, fun, relaxing, close to town, Uber accessible (cost about $25 for an Uber XL from here to Harvey’s), and close to both Raley’s and a Safeway! (Ps- safeway gas nearby!)

Lastly- Kris was quick with response and very helpful when we had questions! :)

We spent five days at this property during the New Years, when it is the most expensive. We have a large group and there was plenty of space for everyone.

Things we liked:

We enjoyed the large living room, the game room, the hot tub. It was also nice to have a laundry room. The owner is a tremendously nice guy, always available and very helpful. The upstairs kitchen is very well equipped and very nice.

Things that could be improved:

The house does need some work however. There are three bathrooms total. Two of the bathrooms are remodeled, but the one on the main floor is not and it smells bad, and the shower head is not working properly. There is no central heating in the upstairs bedrooms, so it got pretty cold at night. We found a couple of small plug in electric heaters on the second night, because we were not given any instructions, so some of us got sick because of the cold. Two of the upstairs bedrooms seem to have been added on, and they are really small. In one of them it is very difficult to move around the bed and to open and close the door, because the bed fills up almost the entire room. It is nice to have a second kitchen downstairs, but in my opinion it should be taken out. The upstairs one is enough for a group of 18 people and the downstairs kitchen is very old, the fixtures are damaged, it looks very uninviting and it just takes up a lot of space in what otherwise would be an amazing game room.

Overall we enjoyed our stay, but I feel it was not worth $1,400 per night which is what we ended up paying with all the taxes and fees. I know it was more expensive because the New years, and I know normally it goes for about half of that, which is about what it is worth.

Our party had a wonderful time staying at this home. Loved that there were 3 floors so everyone had their own space when they did not feel like being social in the common areas. Our party cooked a lot (every meal for 4 days) so we had a lot of garbage. It ended up not fitting into the bin outside, but one message to Kris, and he was there the next day to help us take care of it! Wonderful! Would definitely stay again.
