Ever been to the world's greatest beach?

This unique property is a quick 1/2 mile walk by road to the gorgeous, family-friendly Goose Rocks Beach. Or at low tide one can reach the beach in 1/4 mile walking up the tidal river. This house is tucked away at the quiet end of a private lane with an ocean view, large yard and access to a pristine tidal river (The Little River).

This is a vacation home fully equipped including bikes, kayaks, canoe, outdoor shower, beach chairs and toys. All you have to do is apply your own sunscreen.

One special joy of this property is how the scenery changes by the hour as the tidal river ebbs and flows, offering a distinct connection to nature. When the tide is out, one can easily walk across the river bank to the Timberpoint Trail, part of the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge.

In addition to the summer, the shoulder seasons of June and September, as well as the Thanksgiving and December holidays are great times to enjoy the quieter side of this community. We are renting year round, so there's no time like the present to come enjoy a home that's been in our family for over 20 years. This place abounds with good energy and is ready to provide many lasting memories for you and yours.

Fun place!

The place was really good. There were tons of provided amenities - my kids lived the ping pong table and darts. My oldest's allergies ramped up when he was in the basement bedroom, so we brought those mattresses upstairs for the kids. There was a continuous dehumidifier running, so the owners are doing their best, it just must have been a damp week. Even still Id recommend the place. It's very clear these guys are trying to provide not just a rental, but an actual vacation. There were tons of bikes to choose from, kayaks, a canoe, a propane grill - and we enjoyed it all. And the beach was great. We didn't have any luck fishing, but the kids definitely enjoyed the water!

Great family beach vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Granite Point, primarily because of its close proximity to Goose Rocks Beach. We were grateful for the bikes provided, which made it easy to go back and forth to the beach, general store, again to the beach to watch the sunset... The view from the house was lovely, and the house itself was very comfortable and provided everything we needed to cook meals and enjoy our evenings together as a family.

Terrific location!

Granite Point was a great place to rent. Modern kitchen, great yard, all the toys you could ever need! Easy bike to the beach - if you are planning to go farther afield (Cape Porpoise/Kennebunkport/Biddeford Pool), recommend bringing your own bikes though. We really appreciated that the kayaks and bikes and paddle board were available for our use while we were there. The large yard with firepit made for some fun evenings.

Maine living at its best

It was such great experience to spend a weekend in ME. The house offers so much. Whether you are an outdooor adventurer or weather keeps you inside, you will not be bored as Dennis offers access to bikes, water equipment, beach gear and toys...so much to do. And be sure to follow Dennis' recommendations where to go, what/where to eat. Awesome times!!!

Fully stocked, lovely location

The house had plenty of space and it was clean, neat, and tidy when we arrived. The owner communicated everything we needed to know and was very responsive and helpful with a special request. We appreciated that the house was fully stocked with everything we could need, including gear for beachgoing, bike riding, children's entertainment, and grilling. Calming weekend in these strange times

We came for a birthday celebration and a chance to relax in these strange times. This house is wonderful. It is extremely well equipped, has everything you need for the beach and more. You can't ask for a more perfect location. Goose Rocks Beach is a lovely area and the beach was almost deserted since this was after Labor Day making it incredibly easy to socially distance. We are hoping to come back.

Family Vacation

This home had everything and more than expected. The house was very clean, organized and comfortable. We rode bikes to the beach everyday. My husband and son enjoyed the kayaks. My grandchildren loved the boogie boards. Dennis was great to rent from and we hope to be back next summer for our family vacation at Goose Rocks Beach.

Great place, would definitely go back!

The house is very comfortable, clean and well-equipped. The host was a pleasure to work with despite the challenges of the pandemic. The numerous bikes will get you back and forth to the beach in a flash and there are lots of beach gear, toys, chairs, games, whatever you need!

Beautiful, comfortable home with easy access to Goose Rocks Beach.

This home is in a wonderful location! The house is well equipped and roomy. There are many extras like the bikes, beach chairs and kayaks for you to enjoy. We did have a problem with the expectation of all laundry being done before leaving and making all the beds. It was okay if the last laundry load was in the dryer before we left. We feel this should be detailed in the advertisement so you know when planning your time there. With everyone leaving at the same time, it is tough to do anything ahead of time. Dennis was very easy to talk to you and cared about what was going on. He did explain the laundry policy is something they are working on. Other than that, everything was wonderful!

Great house & location

We enjoyed a wonderful week at this home. It’s fully equipped with all you’ll need-sheets, towels, beach towels & chairs, bikes, kayaks and a well stocked kitchen. It’s across the street from the river so easy access for kayaking. Short walk or bike ride to the beach. The owner is very responsive and easy to work with. At the end of a lane so nice spot for kids to bike around the neighborhood/play in the yard.
