No issues, well kept house, comfortable stay
This was a very nice location in Tahoe City. We could walk to shopping, the local beach and food and drink establishments. We enjoyed rafting on the Truckee River and live music on the beach. Within close proximity to hiking and additional beaches and scenery sites. Place was well stocked and lots of space for all. Would recommend carpet cleaning and upgraded patio furniture as it was nice to have coffee on the deck.
We came to town to meet family and friends for moms interment in trials end cemetery. The stay was beyond great for my family and we loved your place! Thank you, we made wonderful memories in this home. ♥️
I booked this place with a group of colleagues for a conference in Granlibakken. The photos and description is accurate and location is great. You can easily walk down to Tahoe City and to the lake. One thing is the wall does not reach the ceiling between the two bedrooms upstairs - you can hear sounds coming from the other room. Otherwise it was a great stay.
Location is great and we enjoyed interacting w a bear close up upon our departure! Extra Fun! Was very disappointed that there were zero toiletries in the bathrooms? When does a VRBO not supply basic shampoo and conditioner?
Overall, nice. Plenty of space for 6 of us. Well stocked kitchen. Some deferred maintainance. A plumbing problem that the property manager did their best to fix.

Reviewer Comments:
Very disappointing. This property is in need of a deep cleaning and updating. Dead spiders everywhere, cobwebs in the bedrooms, years of dust behind and under beds and other furniture, a family of birds nesting in the walls, dirty pans and baking sheets, a bubble in the main floor ceiling from bathroom above, stained carpets, the list goes on!

Great location. Nice house
Loved the “off main road” location, but central to local things. Nice house with plenty of room. Only issues: no pantry to store our brought food; no bedroom storage like a dresser; stuffy so had to buy a floor fan; no extra garbage bags so had to buy some; pots and pans were thrown in random places in kitchen cupboards and only one regular sized pot; needs better lighting in main room; couldn’t get decent cable stations. A neighbor left his dog roaming all day and he would come to our door and bark at us, then he’d whistle and call for the dog for over an hour every night. Rest of neighbors very nice and felt safe. Nice and quiet

Reviewer Comments:
This is not a critique because I understand the difficulty of maintaining a rental property, but the house is a little tired. It appeared that prior renters may have allowed their dog to stain the carpet near the front door and the kitchen. The knobs on the bi-fold closet doors were broken and the single bed in the upstairs bedroom (on the left) had issues with the slates holding up the mattress.

Reviewer Comments:
Perfect location made it easy to attend wedding events as well as do our own adventures. Emerald Bay, Eagle point and other hikes were a short drive away. Plenty of places to get food in walking distance (or super quick drive)
This home was easy to find. Walking distance to lake and downtown area of Tahoe City. Great for kids. Not so great for old knees, as house has three stories.
The furnishings allowed us to feel very much at home. We love having the forest in our backyard.Great family vacation spot.
And we loved how the property was well stocked with pots and pans and paper goods.
