Plan your special getaway in this home situated on 109 feet of Puget Sound waterfront. Separate guest house makes this a great choice for multiple families traveling together. French doors open off the gourmet kitchen to generous patio area and lawn. Scenic views are enjoyed from almost every room.
From the roof lines to the original hinged windows, this is a truly one of a kind home. It was built nearly 100 years ago by a local judge as his hunting lodge and it is rumored that he utilized inmate craftsmanship to complete the construction.
We love the charm this home exudes as well as the truly active views. Watch early morning water skiers, harbor seals, bald eagles and yachts cruising into the bay to anchor for the weekend. Waking to the Olympic Mountains peaking out during an early morning sunrise. Meander down to the hillside deck or beach to enjoy a colorful evening sunset, hop in one of the kayaks and explore the Sound.

Perfect House, Perfect Location
My family stayed here for a long weekend to visit some relatives in the area. The house was absolutely amazing. Carol Sue thought of everything. The kitchen was stocked with many extras as well as all the settings for entertaining. Loved all the glassware. The beds were luxurious with upscale bedding and very comfortable mattresses. The bathrooms were all completely new and stocked with anything you might have forgotten. The furnishings and decorations throughout the house were unique and well thought out as you can tell she loves it all. Be on the lookout for all the references to birds! I especially loved the kaleidoscope in the living room and playing cribbage in the kitchen. Also, the lighting throughout the home was amazing. Settings for any mood or occasion. We all wanted to move right in!
Since this is the first time Carol Sue has rented out this property, my family and I were trying to figure out some honest things she could improve on for the next guests. Usually, this isn't a problem. All we could think of is a coat rack by the front door. We were draping our coats in the sunroom or on the dining room chairs. Not a big deal at all. The staircase in the guest house is a little precarious--don't do it barefoot!!
This is a wonderful house with a scenic view. I want to come back in the summer to enjoy the patio and water activities. Thank you, Carol Sue for making my long weekend memorable!
Thank you for your kind review. You were such wonderful guests. Our crazy northwest weather created an interesting adventure for your family. I’m so happy the house worked well for your stay. We hope you do come back again.
Bremerton is located on the Kitsap Pennisula with miles of interesting shoreline. One hour from Seattle. Our home is located within minutes of the Bremerton-Seattle ferry. If you've not ridden a ferry before, this ride is a combination of narrow passages and dramatic views, its a fun way to see the puget sound. Bremerton's downtown area is home to two Naval museums, The Admiral Theatre(performing arts), SeeFilm (movie theater) , as well as shops, spas , brew pubs and restaurants. We are happy to assist you with questions regarding sight seeing.
