Ocean-View Condo with Private Balcony

Take sail in this nautical beachfront condo, with its light-filled interiors and charming decor, that promises a relaxing getaway. The condo features a complete kitchen area with both drip coffee maker and a Keurig, stainless-steel appliances & a fully equipped kitchen for your culinary exploits! The family room features a Smart TV with a Wii + Games, DVD player, cable, and Free Wi-fi! Every corner of this condo whispers calm and ease, making it an ideal setting for couples, families, or a group of friends to enjoy a relaxing beachside getaway!

Roof replacement work on Building B is scheduled to begin November 1 and is expected to last approximately one month. During this time, a portion of the parking lot will be blocked off, and guests may experience construction noise during daytime hours. No construction work is scheduled for weekends. We appreciate your understanding as this necessary improvement is completed.

Clean Condo / Great experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the 4th Sea Cabin I have stayed in over the years and this was the cleanest I have stayed at. There was no damp smell when walking in. There were clean linens and dishes. The chairs on the balcony were great and we enjoyed plenty of time out there! We had a problem folding up the sofa one day and a quick text to property management solved that issue! (And a new sofa was getting delivered the day we left.) I did have to call to verify our checkout when the cleaning crew showed up a day early, but the management company again was friendly and quick to take care of it. I would definitely stay here again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve stayed at Sea Cabins before and love the location and the properties we’ve stayed have always been very clean. The checkout instructions say before leaving place all dirty dishes in dishwasher and start however we were only issued two dishwashing pods and were there four days and when we called the desk to ask if we could get one more they said no so we had to go buy a bag for checkout. Make sure you inspect your dishes when you arrive because I’m sure some people would have ran dishes through with no pod the maid would have came in and put them away, with this type of customer service and the fact they do not have an elevator but prices are equivalent to nice places that do I believe we’ll look elsewhere for our next stay in Charleston.

We’re sorry for the frustration regarding the dishwasher pods. We provide two pods along with a small bottle of Dawn dish soap for guests to use during their stay. While we do not keep additional dishwasher pods at the office, we would have been happy to provide additional dish soap if needed. Our housekeeping and inspection teams work hard to ensure the dishware is clean and ready for each arrival, especially during the busy summer season. We understand that an elevator is an important consideration for some guests. Sea Cabins offers oceanfront accommodations within walking distance of many island attractions, while remaining one of the more affordable lodging options on Isle of Palms. We appreciate your feedback and hope you’ll consider staying with us again in the future.

Beach Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was just like it was pictured online. We felt it could have been a bit cleaner. The floors were not swept and the nightstands were not washed. The microwave didn't heat up. They were very responsive and brought another one for us to use. It warmed the food but it didn't show the time, of how many minutes the food was in for.

The Stabbin' Cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Before I elaborate on my experience, I do want to acknowledge Carrie, with Island Realty - she moved us to another location the next day. This place is absolutely filthy. It starts with the complex and the exterior door being covered in a nasty liquid splattered all over it. There is dirt and grime everywhere...the door trim, walls, the tub, door handles, and I would never let my kids touch those steps to the bunks. There were hairs on the sheets, walls, and a huge yellow stain on one of the towels.Also, the toilet is very short - almost child like - and the bed is practically on the floor so if you have any issues,or had back surgery like me, its very hard to get up and down. I would equate it to a Red Roof Inn. There's obviously housekeeping issues, but also in need of some PM work. When they moved us to another location, there were no issues there and it was very comfortable. I do wish there had been a way to contact the office and be moved when we checked in, but it was after hours and no way to discuss the issues with the office - only an emergency maintenance line.

Loved our Sea Cabin!

Amazing location in Isle of Palms. Close to everything. Couldn’t ask for better access to the beach and boardwalk. The condo itself was perfect. Great space for 2 adults and 2 kids. They were obsessed with the bunks! And for anyone who cares, they never fell out ;) It was so clean, well stocked with needed items - so grateful for the beach chairs and sand toys! Parking was convenient. Beds comfy. Wii games were a huge plus at night! Kids loved everything about it. Thank you for an amazing week. We’d love to come back.

We hated the bed, the mattress hurt our backs(maybe it is just too soft for us,sank when you laid down)and the brass bed squeaked at every little move-this was VERY annoying, couldn't get much sleep. The room was decorated nice, but it had too much stuff. We didn't have room for our things because of the desk, chairs, dishes, ect.. we had no where to put our groceries because the cabinets & coutertops were full. View of the beach was nice, but can't see the pier from our balcony.

The compresser would start veryfrequently and was loud. Floor had not beencleaned/wiped by the slider, previous guess haddropped soda or something, and it was sticky. Took a second to clean it up no big deal excepttells you cleaning people had wiped the floor You couldn't have missed the spot.Questionsraised is what else didn't they clean>> Butdidn't let it spoil my vacation. A more comfortable corner chair would have been nice,may be a consideration for the future.

Amazing location but very small

Renting with this rental property was a complete pain. They required that we arrived within an hour and half period. It was just ridiculous. Our travel arrangements did allow for that. They were not very flexible. I had to call several times before they would set up a lock box; which was just ridiculous because we signed everything electronically and no keys are required. It’s a hassle for nothing. My husband and I have traveled the world and never encountered a company that was so difficult to work with. We both have asthma. The apartment was extremely dusty. The place looked like it hadn’t been rented in a long time. It was very dirty. There were toe nail clippings in the dressers. There was a thick layer of dust. This place has mold and you can smell it. I had to air out the place. It killed our allergies. The dishes were slimy. It was bad. I washed what we needed that night and they sent someone to clean the next day. Everything worked. Nothing was broken. The location was excellent. Restaurants, the grocery store, and even a pharmacy are all within walking distance. There is a great view of the beach and the sea from the balcony. The beach is a very short walk. It is very, very small. It comfortably fits 2 people; but it’s tight. It does not comfortably fit more than 2 people. The bunk beds are built into the hallway and are smaller than twin sized so our boys were uncomfortable. I thought the beds were in their own room. I was a bit confused by the pictures. I do not recommend this for a family.

If a guest cannot arrive by 5:30, our staff provides you with a lockbox and a check in packet. For the condo you rented it is required that you pick up a parking pass by the HOA. This assures the HOA does not have your car towed during your stay. It is regrettable that you did not call the office and ask to speak to a manager who could assist you with many of your complaints. Please note we have a 24hour emergency staff to help you at any time during your stay. We invite you back again for a more enjoyable stay, and please do not hesitate to call our staff.

Growth isn’t always a good thing

Reviewer Comments: We had a good time, but the crowds are getting a bit too much for us. I’ve been coming down to Isle of Palms since the early 80’s and loved it then. I totally understand that growth has to happen over time, but I wanted my (5) yr old daughter to have some of the same experience that I had coming here in my youth, but that’s impossible now. We felt more like we were in Myrtle Beach than a little island, over all a nice time, but I believe Sea Cabins and Ise of Palms has changed too much for our taste.
