Beautiful Salt Waterfront Cape Cod home on Green Pond in Falmouth. Enjoy panoramic sunsets and stunning views to Martha's Vineyard on a private and peaceful setting that overlooks a salt water bay and wildlife sanctuary. Fish for Stripers off the dock, relax in the hammock or porch swing that overlooks the private pond on property, and just take in the silence of nature. Bring your own boat and spend the days exploring the miles of the Cape's most beautiful coastline, or cruise over to the Vineyard for lunch, *note (8 ft bridge). We also have 2 kayaks you can use to explore Green Pond, or go down to the beach at the end.
The house is on a quiet tree lined dead end street off Rt 28, yet it's close to everything. We have a 1/2 acre lot with a huge yard overlooking the water, with room for outdoor activities and fun. We have Horseshoes, Corn hole, Bocce Ball, and fishing rods available, and four Beach Cruiser bikes to use to explore the neighborhood. There’s no better way to end the day than a bonfire by water in the fire pit area.
Our fully appointed and spotless home has all the needed amenities. First floor has open floor plan with a master suite with bath, kitchen, dining, living room an small office. We have 2 more sun filled bedrooms, family room, laundry and full bath on lower level, plus a sofa bed in the family room for extra guests. There's a new outdoor seating bar on the deck for waterfront dining from home, and a magnificent sunset cocktail hour.
It's fully applianced with a new washer & dryer, and a beautiful new outdoor shower. We have Xfinity 1 TV, and a Bose Stereo for entertainment, also lots of popular and vintage board games, with a selection of books in every room. There’s a window AC in the main level of the house, ceiling fan, or regular fan in every room. We provide all fresh linens and towels, beach towels, beach chairs and toys, and also small & medium coolers to use.
We are close to the many beautiful Falmouth Beaches and the epic Shining Sea Bikeway, Falmouth Village and Mashpee Commons. Ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard are a short drive away. The best part of Falmouth is that it's a year round town, it is always open. There is so much to do off season, so please ask about our off season rates for weekend getaways.
