Why Jacqueline Singer chose Lake Tahoe North Shore CA

Alpine Meadows is a unique combination of quiet, comfort and outdoor activities. Nestled into the alpine mountains yet close to Lake Tahoe with all that it has to offer- the lake, biking, hiking, swimming, waterskiing, fishing, restaurants, boating, horseback riding, golfing and of course skiing. Close to the action yet away from the crowds. One of the most beautiful interiors in the Tahoe area.

What makes this condo unique

Ski-in from Alpine Meadows, hike or mountain bike right from the front door or use the sledding hill. Only minutes to Lake Tahoe and Squaw Valley or the Truckee River bike path or fishing. Be the first on the mountain.

Guestbook comments from the owner

What a great place you have! So close to the ski resort and so quiet. We were able to get to Tahoe City in 7 minutes. The kids loved their own "private" room with bunks, a sofa and a host of videos to choose from and we loved cooking in your kitchen . The place was so warm, cozy and inviting. We will definately be back!

Lovely condo, great location

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay here, the condo is very warm, comfortable and inviting. Perfect blend of kid-friendly (we had 18 month old & 5 year old) and adult-luxury. The location is great, walkable to Alpine, and close to River Ranch for dinner out. Tons of snow in the area right now and a nice little sledding hill for the kids in the condo complex. Jacquelyn was a gracious and accommodating host who went out of her way to make us feel at home.

Fabulous ski chalet at Alpine

  • 5 of 5

We were absolutely delighted with this lovely ski chalet right on the access road to Alpine. We have been at many different ski condos, homes, and slope side accommodations and this easily ranks as one of our favorites. Everything is perfectly set up for the slopes. Parking directly in front of the house (no slogging tired children in heavy ski boots across a parking lot), roomy ski locker, boot mats, pegs for ski gear, bench to sit down upon in order put on/remove said gear.

The home is lovingly appointed with comfy leather couches, soft throws, a beautiful river rock fireplace. There is a high end kitchen with a Sub Zero, Viking range, Kitchen Aid dishwasher. Family meals were a delight on the gorgeous giant table made of reclaimed wood.

Jacqueline, the owner, was the consummate hostess. Her prompt replies, warm communications, kind flexibility, and attention to detail made the entire transaction completely hassle free. Thank you!! We can't wait for the privilege to stay again.

Nice condo, great location, and great for families

  • 5 of 5

This was a nicely remodeled condo with all the extras. New kitchen, nice furniture, great location (sledding out the front door and skiing within walking distance). Even a large steam shower to relax after the day. We had a great week there with the kids. As close as you can get to Alpine meadows ski area.

Charming Mountain Get-away

  • 5 of 5

One full week of mountain and lake adventure in Lake Tahoe could not have been any better thanks to the comforts of staying in this little slice of nirvana. The home had all the amenities, and then some, to satisfy our creature comforts necessary to fulfill that home away-from-home desire. High grade aesthetics in the furnishings and kitchen made it special to just relax there after a hard day playing on land or lake! It was quiet, peaceful and serene for a condo complex. Nature views all along the Alpine Meadows drive and the close proximity to more than enough hiking trails made it super easy to get out and enjoy the environment. Neighboring towns of Squaw, Truckee and North and West Shore Tahoe made it effortless to diverge from nature and get a little "townie" feel under your belt. Jacqueline was knowledgeable and responsive to our whims. I would recommend this charming mountain hide-away as a base camp for whatever your vacation plans entail.

Second rental of this awesome condo!

  • 5 of 5

This is the second time we have rented this condo. It has a great location near Alpine Meadows, and is one of the best outfitted rentals I have ever used. The kitchen has EVERYTHING. The condo is extremely well kept, very comfortable and is a great base for skiing Alpine and Squaw. We loved it, and will stay here again.

A home away from home......!

  • 5 of 5

I picked this place for 3 reasons:

1) Owned and "curated" by a woman - I got nothing against guys (I am one of them!), but a house becomes a home when a woman takes care of it. This place felt so homely and cozy from the moment we stepped in. From the cleanliness to the amenities (nice new kitchen, WiFi etc) to the smart use of each area (without feeling too crowded), we didn't want to leave...

2) Location - Nestled in this nice area across a saucer hill and a block away from the Alpine Meadow ski resort, and with a beautiful view from the balcony

3) Owner's Helpline - This being our first time at Alpine and the fact that I had a 1 year old (and a 6 year old) with us, I had a lot of questions. I got all the questions answered promptly via email and even got suggestions and recommendations on things to do, which were spot on.

We can't wait to go back again....!
