This property is above and beyond! We had the best host! Communication was excellent and timely. The kitchen is really beautiful and exceptionally well stocked with everything you need during a stay. The home was really clean, very well decorated. The best part…the outdoor patio area on the ground floor. We literally spent all our time outside, in the patio, watching wildlife, boats being launched, the tide go on and out. Be aware we came in the off season, and if you need anything during that time, it is not close by. A beautiful drive of about 20 minutes is required for a store run to Allyn or Shelton. However, the peace, quiet, stillness and healing of this beautiful waterfront home is worth remembering to bring all snacks, or whatever you want to have during your stay. We absolutely give this home the highest marks and will definitely be coming back.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Beach Barn. The location was perfect for exploring the area and all of the amenities were well thought out and well-equipped. Perfect Getaway

We stayed to attend a family reunion nearby and had the best time, the home has kayaks, a fully stocked kitchen, amazing views of the water and the quiet pier has a marketplace with any little things you may have forgotten (and of course ice cream for the kids). We highly recommend staying here!

Such a fun and relaxing stay. The inlet had a ton of seals and they were so fun to watch! There isn’t a lot of stuff in town but Belfair is just down the road with more options!

I don’t even know where to begin. We had such a great time at the Beach Barn. It was one of the best places we have ever rented from Vrbo. It was so cozy and the amenities were not lacking anything. The place was tiptop and right on the water. We had small family reunion and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent host !

The Beach Barn

All I can say is what a beautiful home and location to spend a week with my family. The property has everything one can need. I can tell the host has put thought into this lovely home. It’s cozy yet spacious. Wonderful place to just sit admire the water and the seal who visits. The whole family truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back in the future.

Beautifully decorated home with a great layout for our two family groups (one upstairs w teens, one downstairs w baby). Nothing dangerous for my under 2yo niece and plenty of room for everyone. Owner was excellent with prompt follow-up to questions and the home has all the needed amenities. Great stay, thank you!

Beach Barn oasis

We rented this house for our group to stay at for a wedding held next door. This house had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the long weekend. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked with anything we would need to use for cooking etc. and plenty of space for our card playing. Looking forward to coming back

Great host. Everything you could need. Kayaks, life vests, cornhole, barbecue, etc. We were there on the busy holiday weekend and still peaceful and quiet. Boat launch would be super convenient but we didn't have a boat and it is not loud at all. Just pop kayaks in from front steps. Great, well stocked kitchen. Clearly a loved place.

Winter wonderland

We stayed here for 3 nights and it snowed the entire time! It was so relaxing to chill out next to the fire and watch the snow fall. The place was clean and well equipped with everything we needed to hide away for a few night. We already have plans to bring our nephews when covid conditions improve.

Arrival instructions were very easy to follow. The house was beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen was completely stocked with supplied with everything needed. Only objection, would of enjoyed a tv in downstairs bedroom.

Absolutely Wonderful!

The Beach Barn was very clean, extremely comfortable, and way above our expectations. We grew up visiting Grapeview (our grandparents had a piece of property with a couple of cabins on the water), so we were thrilled when our cousin chose Grapeview as the destination for her wedding. Everything you could possibly need is available in the kitchen, the bedding is top of the line and super comfortable, there is a washer and dryer, and three kayaks you can launch right in front of the Beach Barn. It was fabulous and we would love to stay again!

Work Travel

I made this reservation for two of my Firefighter staff. The area does not have a lot of hotel options and this place was reasonably priced which made it an easy choice to book. My Firefighter said he would give this place "all 5 stars", he was very pleased! Although I was not there personally, I have no doubt it was wonderful due to the positive feedback from staff!

Family visit

Wow!! I can honestly say this was probably the nicest VRBO we’ve stayed in. The owners go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. The decor is also very nice and flows wonderfully through the house. We enjoyed the mornings drinking coffee and sitting on the patio with the outdoor heater on and a blanket watching the marina. Seals swim by and eagles fly over. We have family near by so we will definitely stay here again!!!
