Mark and Diane are Seattle natives and high school sweethearts who love sharing their vacation homes with guests. The Beach Barn is our latest project, purchased in Aug 2017 and lovingly remodeled with comfort and relaxation in mind. We started in the vacation rental business in 2008 with a property on Puget Sound in Shelton, WA (VRBO#150033) that is now run by Diane's sister. Next we purchased a condo in Anaheim, CA (VRBO#329422) across the street from Disneyland that has been a successful vacation rental since 2010. Then we bought a brand new mountain home in Roslyn, WA (VRBO#1151157) that has been a successful vacation rental since 2012. In 2015 we purchased a fixer upper in Renton, WA which we remodeled and is our cozy primary residence near family. Real estate is our passion and we can't wait to have you as our guest.

We have been searching for years for the perfect Puget Sound getaway and fell in love with the location and setting of this home. Allyn, WA is a quaint beach side town 5 minutes away from our place. The property is low bank salt waterfront, bulkhead with 7 stairs, so access to the water and the beach filled with clams and oysters is a breeze. Adjacent to the property is the Port of Grapeview boat launch and the Fair Harbor Marina. We don't own a boat yet, but plan on it in the future! The water in front of our home is somewhat protected as it faces east toward Treasure Island, a small island in Case Inlet. It's about a 1 hour paddle around Treasure Island. The waters in front of our property are a "no wake" zone so any motor boats or jet ski's will be travelling slowly and quietly which is such a nice bonus.
The home was built in 1964 and was nicely maintained but with original decor. The layout was great, so we just updated everything and embraced the gambrel roof (barn shaped roof), added some barn like features and The Beach Barn was born!
The home features 2 huge decks, 1 is covered, and a fairly flat grass lawn all facing the water. We love outdoor living so this home felt like the perfect fit for us. The home is removed from major highways so very limited traffic noise. The adjacent boat launch is an added bonus in our opinion. We have met so many nice people and it can be very entertaining to watch.
I FELT LIKE IT WAS DECORATED JUST FOR ME. THE COLORS AND STYLE COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE ME. QUALITY APPLIANCES AND KITCHEN ITEMS. EVERYTHING WAS INCLUDED YOU COULD POSSIBLY NEED. LINENS WERE VERY NICE. EVERYTHING WAS THOUGHT OF TO MAKE THIS A PERFECT GET AWAY TO RELAX AND RECONNECT WITH FAMILY OR FRIENDS.
WEATHER WAS GREAT AND ENJOYED SITTING AROUND THE FIRE OUTSIDE. HOPE TO GO THERE AGAIN SOON. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
This Beach Barn was the perfect place for our family vacation. The house is so well maintained with updates throughout. It felt like something straight out of HGTV with Chip and Joanna's style. The view was second to none and the kids loved looking for clams on the beach in the evenings. Allyn had everything we needed for our stay. I can't recommend it enough. We will be back.
Thanks!

This house was perfect for our annual girls get together. Room sizes and furniture arrangement handles groups of 7 comfortably. The beds comfortable, house very clean and organized. The owners very easy to work with. When I asked my group if they had suggestions they couldn’t come up with one, you can tell the owners thought of everything to make guests comfortable. A nice place to relax!
Had a wonderful stay here with my family! Beautiful views from the house and was perfect for the short time we were in town visiting family nearby with our group of 4. Every corner of the house was beautifully renovated and has the look of a page in Coastal Living. The amenities were all updated, we used the TV a lot in the living room (equipped with Roku TV) during the rainy nights/days and had access to a vast variety of shows. Love the open concept of the downstairs and the windows that brought in a lot of sunlight. Would love to come back here during the warmer months!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Beach Barn. The view is outstanding! Both floors have a wall of windows and decks to soak it all in. The house is well appointed with great beds and linens. It is quite fresh and clean. We want to come again in the summer to enjoy the decks and beach. Also, Diane is a pleasure to work with.
Wanted a weekend away and were thrilled with the "Beach Barn." Clean, beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable beds and linens. The kitchen was a delight. The owners have thought of everything. Can't wait to come back!
