In the summer months, watch the rare reef net fishing fleet catch salmon in Legoe Bay right from our large deck or down at the beach. You’ll love the privacy as our home sits well above the road with an easy two-minute walk to our zero bank private beach on Legoe Bay and the "most walkable mile" on the island! Great for family and group gatherings. Just bring your personal items and your food. We take care of the rest!
BEACH ACCESS is a mellow two-minute walk down our private driveway to Legoe Bay Road. Our 30' of private beach is directly across the road. We have a large picnic table and fire pit for your enjoyment. A gentle sloping pebble beach makes it easy to launch canoes and kayaks.
Our two-story home offers two spacious upstairs bedrooms with amazing views and two cozy downstairs bedrooms, all with comfortable queen beds. The upstairs also features a loft area with love seat, desk, TV and DVD player, games and books for your enjoyment. This is a great place for kids (or adults) to hang out —maybe even play a game of TWISTER!
We are located within easy driving or cycling distance from the ferry landing, grocery store, post office, library and the Beach Store Café. These amenities are less than 1.5 miles away so walking is also an option for those wanting some exercise.
Saturdays feature a seasonal farmer’s market from June through August. You can purchase fresh produce, pastries, and the local artists have their work available for sale. On the island you will find two restaurants, The Beach Store Cafe and the almost world-famous Willows Inn, and a weekend sandwich shop located next to the Islander store. The Islander is a general grocery store with limited selections, including beer and wine.
Bicycles can be rented on the island and our private beach is perfect to launch your canoe, kayak or SUP from. A public marina is less than a mile down the road to launch larger, motorized craft.
Our off-season rate (before May 1) for the entire property is $250 a night, mid-season rate (May 1 - June 25) is $290, and our high-season rate is $355 a night.
