Great space and location. Walk to Balboa Park, Little Italy, waterfront as well as neighborhood spots. But not as congested as downtown. William and Kelly were responsive, clear and helpful. Hope to stay again sometime.

This loft space was very cool and the owners were lovely to work with. It was very close to everything we needed and was a comfortable place to stay. I know a few other people already mentioned the biggest downside - the airplanes. Although there are mixed reviews about how disruptive being in the flight path for the airport is, we found it very distracting. They are quite loud and fly very low over the neighborhood. The other problem we had is the window covering ms are too sheer to block out any light. While this may be fine for early risers or sound sleepers, it was a little hard for us with the street lights at night and bright daylight in the morning.

Everything from booking to check out was seamless. We were in town for for college move-in and this was a perfect location to call homebase for a few nights. I would definitely book this location again.

Nice place to stay. Easy access to downtown via a Lyft or uber. Planes flying over a lot but once you get used to it, it’s really not that bad.

Stay at loft walking distance to Balboa Park

My daughter and I stayed here during our short stay in San Diego. Check in was easy and smooth and location looked as pictures presented. The location was walking distance to Balboa Park which was perfect considering that was the main reason we were in town. We had read online that other people noted the plane noise was distracting. It definitely was and the location is in a business hallway, so sleeping in wasn’t great as you could hear everyone clomping down the hall and chatting. A great location but maybe not for the light sleepers or those who wish to sleep in.

Excellent location and spacious loft!

The loft was spacious and comfortable. It was perfect for relaxing after socialising and being in public. There is an entrance to the building on the fit floor and I felt completely safe the entire time. No direct street access from the loft gives you a secure feel. I look forward to staying here agin next year!

Good location across from Balboa Park

Good, central location near airport. Bring your own corkscrew, can opener & knife. Eating utensils only.Curb-chock your tires when parking or you'll get a ticket.Dont plan on using the TV. Pixelated reception.

Great spot

One large room with clean hardwood floors, easy enough to get in/out. Parking was simple. Neighborhood good/safe and walkable. Would stay again.

Great location

We were happy with the unit. When staying here you should be aware there will be a lot of noise from being under the flight path for planes landing at SD Airport... Like every minute until late in the evening.

Great Inside, Iffy Outside

The actual loft was beautiful. Very clean. Centrally located with easy access to downtown, Balboa Park, Hillcrest, and the freeway. Outside was different. There was a homeless guy camped out right by the entrance to the room. I looked out the window to check on my car and wow, i got to see his private part as he was urinating next to my car. Bonus! The host mentioned that free parking was on 6th ave and thats where we should park overnight and that "Th 7am-10am street sweeping". I parked there Wednesday night.and by 7:30am i had a ticket. They really needed to elaborate on that a little bit more as the sign was more that 100 ft in an area that was really dark and right next to a van that was sketch to say the least. Lastly, the San Diego airport flight pattern is literally directly overhead. As in 350 ft overhead. We measured! It didnt bother me that much as i used to be stationed in Balboa Naval Hospital years ago and lived in the same area but this wasnt told to us in the descriptions and my wife didnt appreciate the irony like I did.

The loft is situated close to Balboa Park, the Zoo, Little Italy, the Gaslamp District and Petco Park.

Please note this property is in downtown and in the landing flight pattern for San Diego. It is subject to city noise, air traffic and emergency vehicles. Close proximity to airport, hospitals and freeways. There is no elevator and must use stairs to access. SD city allows construction from 7AM-7PM. Which you could hear from time to time.
We do not allow pets/animals of any kind because we have a family member allergic to dog/animal dander/ hair. .Use LBX to prevent loss of keys
