Kaha Lani 213, Beautiful Oceanfront Corner condo ... wonderful sunrise views

Kaha Lani #213 is a beautiful oceanfront 2 story (2nd and 3rd floor) 2-bedroom corner condo in a quiet area surrounded by Wailua Golf Course and Lydgate Park. The condo is light and airy and decorated with Hawaiian furnishings. Upon entering you are greeted with a spectacular ocean view through 17 ft. of floor to ceiling windows leading to a large lanai. The lanai has a high bar dining set that allows views over the railing. In season, whales can be seen from here. Feel free to use our binoculars. Enjoy your expansive view from the living room and dining room! The sofa sleeper has been upgraded from a double to a queen size mattress. We have high speed internet, flat screen cable TV, Blu Ray player and several games, puzzles, DVD’s, books and cards to keep you entertained. Since we are on the east side, enjoy the gorgeous sunrise!

The oceanfront upstairs bedroom has 11 ft. of windows and a queen bed with a Tempur pedic mattress where you can enjoy being lulled to sleep by the sound of the surf and the breeze in the coconut palms. The bedroom has an adjacent bath with a shower and is somewhat secluded since they are the only rooms on the 3rd floor.

The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed with a Tempur pedic mattress and adjoining bath with a shower over the tub. A portable crib is stored here. There is a laundromat close to the condo on the property. Our outdoor closet has beach chairs and sand toys.

The kitchen is fully equipped for those who like to dine in and there are gas grills in different areas on the property. We provide some picnic supplies including a cooler. A 5 to 10-minute drive away, Wailua and Kapa’a offer numerous additional dining options from fast food to casual spots and local eateries to gourmet dining.

Take in mountain views of Sleeping Giant from the downstairs bedroom, kitchen and front lanai! Lounge by the heated pool or play some tennis. The extensive lawn area allows ample space for outdoor play time. Take a long walk on the white sand beach that extends for 2 miles or use the hike and bike trail that goes right past the condo. Hike the trails at Sleeping Giant or kayak the Wailua River, both nearby. A 7-minute walk brings you to Lydgate Park which has two protected swimming areas within Wailua Bay: a shallow pool for children and a larger deeper pool for adults with a lifeguard. Both pools are protected from ocean swells by rock wall barriers. We love to snorkel here! The park also has a large playground, covered picnic tables, public parking, bathrooms, showers and a large grassy area perfect for Frisbee or kite flying. Across from the swimming ponds is an outdoor walk up bar and grille, Mamahune's, over looking Wailua Bay.

As is common in Kauai homes, our condo doesn’t have air conditioning. Normally, the trade winds coming off the ocean flow through the condo. All the jalousie (louvered) windows are new and most are tinted. We have several ceiling fans and portable fans that can be moved to where you want them.

Kaha Lani provides free parking. The grounds at Kaha Lani are beautifully landscaped across 7 acres with plenty of room to enjoy all the resort has to offer!

Activities nearby include seasonal swimming, snorkeling, water skiing, fishing, surfing, windsurfing, kayaking, hiking, sight-seeing, shopping, tennis and golf.
