Perfect getaway!

  • 5 of 5

My two children spent a week at a camp in the area and in order to avoid one exceptionally long day of driving, we decided to travel to Hendersonville on Friday, pick the kids up Saturday morning and return home on Sunday. I am so very glad we were able to stay in this neat and clean cabin. The views from the cabin are absolutely beautiful! My son is a bit of an explorer and it was not long before he discovered the blackberries peppered on the property and on the gravel road down the mountain. He started with a handful but eventually had over 200 (yes, he counted them) so we had to drive back to town to get the ingredients for a blackberry cobbler.

Our plans came about last-minute and Beth was extremely responsive and helpful (and patient...we played phone tag for a while) throughout the entire booking. I especially like the fact that there were no hidden processing fees, etc. as is often the case with other VRBO rentals. There is already discussion about going back next year! This property will not disappoint---but be warned, you really DO need AWD or 4WD for the last two miles!

Wonderful secluded cabin

  • 5 of 5

Very clean, neat, and spectacular views. A wonderful place to relax. The final couple of miles of access are via gravel switchback roads, so you definitely want AWD/4WD, but the drive is worth it. About 20-25 minutes to downtown Hendersonville. The cabin is well stocked if you want to do your own cooking. We really enjoyed our short stay.

A pleasure to work with!

  • 5 of 5

Sadly, I had to cancel my reservation with Beth due to health reasons (I was within the cancellation policy). She was so kind and accommodating to my needs. From the moment I booked until the moment I cancelled, she was warm and friendly. I definitely recommend booking her cabin. I cannot wait to reschedule my visit!

Perfect Retreat!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is very remote, and you definitely need 4-wheel drive. But... the views are worth it!!! The cabin is a perfect size for two couples with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was very clean with plenty of linens and kitchen accessories. We enjoyed thrilling days tubing on the Green River and relaxing evenings in our cabin.

PS-Beth was easy to work with and accommodated our unconventional stay from Thursday to Wednesday. Many owners only want Saturday to Saturday guests.

Better than the listing

  • 5 of 5

We had planned a wonderful bachlorette, then everything fell through. To say I was stressed is an understatement! I hopped on vrbo & there were few that caught my eye & were avaliable for this weekend. I put calls out & heard back that they weren't available after all...then Beth called. It was avaliable!!!!! Thrilled to get the weekend started the girls & I headed to Hendersonville after a day at the spa in my Tahoe. We had no trouble getting to the gravel road but were a little nervous while looking up it... we started our trek up the thrilling hill beeping the horn all the way around the blind turns...we had never laughed so hard. With every bump & turn we were giddy! Once we reached the house we were stunned. What. A. View! The pictures just didn't do this lovely slice of heaven any justice. We loved every minute of our stay! I would recommend bringing your own firewood for the firepit or a small saw to cut your own. Thank you for sharing your home with us on such short notice & having it so clean!

Great Cabin!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I enjoyed this cabin so much! Beth was fantastic to work with and the cabin is super clean and fully stocked with everything you may need. The ride up to the cabin was amazing. (Beth recommends 4 wheel drive, and I totally agree!) Our daughters loved going up and down the mountain and the view from the cabin can't be put into words. It's private, peaceful and just perfect. Our stay at the cabin was one of our best vacation!
