Loved this place!

Views were incredible! You do need a 4-wheel drive.

Great views, cozy cabin

  • 3 of 5

Cabin needed a good cleaning inside. Many spider webs in the corners. Cozy cabin with nice deck and great views! Beware of the drive on single lane road, very steep.

Boynton Beach, Florids

A great place to find rest from a hectic world.

  • 5 of 5

Very well maintained. Beautiful views from every window. Comfort of home. You do need to buy all staples. Some people leave odds and ends in the kitchen. The road takes a few trips to get used to the turns and steep hills. Follow directions carefully, met a unfriendly neighbor on a wrong turn. The trip back to town takes 35 minutes due to the time required to travel the unpaved road. But its beautiful and you can travel both west and east easily. The owners were always available to help us. We would stay here again!

Private, Comfortable, Relaxing

  • 5 of 5

Beth was great. She was responsive and made the entire booking / arrival process easy. The cabin is clean and comfortable. The views are spectacular. The gravel road to the cabin is pretty well maintained but they aren't kidding about the need for AWD/4WD to reach the destination. It's steep in places with some pretty cool switchbacks, but not bothersome if you take your time. (both directions) An awesome getaway spot!

Perfect getaway!

  • 5 of 5

My two children spent a week at a camp in the area and in order to avoid one exceptionally long day of driving, we decided to travel to Hendersonville on Friday, pick the kids up Saturday morning and return home on Sunday. I am so very glad we were able to stay in this neat and clean cabin. The views from the cabin are absolutely beautiful! My son is a bit of an explorer and it was not long before he discovered the blackberries peppered on the property and on the gravel road down the mountain. He started with a handful but eventually had over 200 (yes, he counted them) so we had to drive back to town to get the ingredients for a blackberry cobbler.

Our plans came about last-minute and Beth was extremely responsive and helpful (and patient...we played phone tag for a while) throughout the entire booking. I especially like the fact that there were no hidden processing fees, etc. as is often the case with other VRBO rentals. There is already discussion about going back next year! This property will not disappoint---but be warned, you really DO need AWD or 4WD for the last two miles!

Wonderful secluded cabin

  • 5 of 5

Very clean, neat, and spectacular views. A wonderful place to relax. The final couple of miles of access are via gravel switchback roads, so you definitely want AWD/4WD, but the drive is worth it. About 20-25 minutes to downtown Hendersonville. The cabin is well stocked if you want to do your own cooking. We really enjoyed our short stay.
