This Loft is the ideal location for getting acquainted with the city. The outdoor courtyard with fountain is the perfect place for afternoon drinks, or morning coffee. The famous High Cotton Restaurant is also located within the building. There also free private wifi access. We also have two flat screen tv's 40' with wifi blue ray player, that can access the internet, and netflix. You can watch your own Netflix account from the loft.

Great location, garage parking!
The loft was clean, lovely, comfy and close to everything we wanted to see/experience in Charleston! Really, the location is perfect. Even when traveling to Sullivan's Island, the airport or plantations, this location allows easy and quick access out of town. The free parking is a huge perk!!! My sister and I loved our stay. Breakfast and lunch in, dinner out. Perfect! The only thing I would say is that it was a little difficult to drag our admittedly heavy luggage up the spiral staircase. We were fine with it, but older folks may have serious issues with it.Of course, one could always change on the private main floor!
Wonderful weather and not too crowded. Charleston is so photogenic.
This property is well situated in the French Quarter of Charleston, just a short walk to most of the city sights you want to see. The loft apartment was great with everything we needed for our stay. Due to the spiral staircase to the loft bedroom, it's probably not the best choice for people with limited mobility but we had no problems at all. The free parking in the nearby garage was a Godsend as street parking is a challenge. The apartment is very quiet at night unless someone decides to sit in the courtyard at 5am and have a full blown hour long conversation, which is perfectly audible by probably everyone staying at the Lodge Alley Inn. Other than for that though we thoroughly recommend this property.
Nice location, slow got musty smell
Beautiful location on east Bay Street. Safe building with nice courtyard. Nice sized kitchen and dining area with comfortable sofas. Pretty loft. There is a musty odor when air is not on that was frequently smelled but did appear overall clean. Comfortable shower. The bed is quite used as there is a caving in in middle of mattress but we did sleep. Gave 4 stars because of great location and pretty appearance but would have given 3 stars with mattress and underlying musty scent. Probably needs terminal cleaning
We do have professional cleaning for the loft after each and every guest. We also have quarterly deep cleanings. The bed issue has been addressed and corrected.
The location can not be beat, large outdoor courtyard, and free wifi, and a free garage parking spot, saving you $25 per day on parking. Come explore Charleston and see what treasures await your visit.

Great location, fair accomodations.
The location is convienient, within walking distance to everything and there is a pass for the garage. The loft is just fair. I would not be as critical, but after taxes and all the fees, the cost was much higher per night than the original quote . I have higher expectations when paying this amount of money. This is our 5th visit to Charleston and we always stay close to everything. The places were nicer, included parking and less expensive. Bottom line, not worth the money.
We are centrally located and are a great base for exploring all that Charleston has to offer. We do keep our prices competitive and up to date on the VRBO system, so prices quoted are the same prices charged. VRBO does have their own service fee, but in the quote system they already have that included. Parking is expensive in Charleston, up to $25 daily, and we offer our guests extra savings with our free garage parking card.
Charleston is waiting for you too to come and explore, and find out for yourself why its been rated the #1 destination ! Why book an expensive 12' x 12' hotel "box", when you can book a unique 950 sq ft large open loft, with full kitchen.

If booking online through the VRBO payment system, the 2.9% Credit Card service fee will be deducted from your refundable damage deposit. The cancelation policy will be listed in the emailed Rental Agreement.
